Sole Technology is home to some of the most respected brands in the skateboarding / action sport industry. The brands that operate through Sole Technology are Etnies Footwear, Emerica Footwear, éS Footwear, Altamont Apparel, and thirtytwo Snowboarding. My role at Sole Tech is to photograph and edit marketing / product images for print and online media. I shoot products in studio, on location, and with models / professional riders sponsored by the Sole Tech brands. Other duties of my job include: collaborating with art directors, developing marketing concepts, making color / material changes to images in Photoshop, uploading / managing images on our file delivery systems (Image Relay, Dropbox, internal servers), reformatting images for various platforms, updating product SKUs, and styling products for photoshoots. These images are created in Sole Tech’s professional photography studio and on location using equipment / software such as: Cannon cameras, Adobe CC, Capture One, ColorMunki, Profoto lights, etc.

Over the years; I've shot product, marketing, lifestyle, event, and portraiture photos for various clients. From sorority photoshoots to working on marketing campaigns for large brands; I've been involved in a variety of freelance projects.

RippedLaces.com was a skateboarding shoe news / review website based in New York, NY. This site reported and wear-tested the newest footwear hitting skateboarding culture; as well as conducted interviews with some of skateboardings most respected skateboarders and designers. My role at RippedLaces.com was to do various Photoshop edits and help write a collection of articles. My most notable work with RL was the article series titled "My Shoe Mashups". Here I would combine various skate shoes in Photoshop to create conceptual skate shoe designs. Once I had completed combining / designing these shoes; I wrote essays discussing how these combined features created a more functional / fashionable piece of skateboarding footwear.RippedLaces.com was a skateboarding shoe news / review website based in New York, NY.
