Production Planner

-Assume full ownership of management of the production of assigned sales regions, from order creation & verification, monitoring sales order, requisition uploads, tracking and monitoring all purchase orders & contracts -Achieve 95% on time delivery and fulfillment -Achieve 100% purchasing accuracy -Ensure that data across 3 platforms is accurate & updated at all times -Manage the vendor relationship to maximize vendor's prioritization of Oakley product -Partner globally with sales, development, liaison offices, logistics, quality & distribution center to ensure the successful planning & execution of apparel, footwear & accessory product -Collaborate with external vendors to delivery objectives in regards to production calendar, lead times, quality, cost & aesthetic -Communicate delays, short-shipment & production issued globally to sales/ operations -Vendor performance reporting -Issue and manage seasonal forecast to vendors -Track the purchasi Systems: SAP, GT Nexus, M1 PLM

• Daily communication with domestic/international factories/fabric mills to ensure all goods/garments ship according to production schedule • Travel to factories (Canada) yearly with Production Manager/CEO to resolve any/all production problems • Monthly meeting with CFO/CEO/Production Manager regarding any/all production/fabric issues (QC inspections, fabric cost increase/decrease, core/seasonal inventory, planning, forecasting) • Creating/monitoring WIP report/T&A calendar to ensure all garments/fabrics/trims follow production schedule • Negotiating cost with factories/fabric mills to ensure maximum profit is attained • Work closely with design director to select seasonal/core fabric collection, make recommendations on stock fabric purchase quantities/qualities based on analyzing financial records and trend forecasting • Create/send/monitor all fabric/garment orders. • Work closely with CFO/CEO/Production Manager to establish seasonal/core garment pricing

-Coordinate the efforts of product development with weekly meetings involving: Design, Planning, Technical Design, Fabric Research/Development, Fabric Purchasing, and Merchandising. -Pre-costing all styles after season presentation to ensure estimated sell price is appropriate to meet markup. -Negotiating costs with factories, creating cost sheets and allocating/sourcing available space. -Work closely with planning to ensure that PO’s are issued and delivered within the appropriate time frame correctly. -Creating and analyzing WIP report daily to ensure all goods x-factory in a timely manner. -Work closely with technical design to ensure all fit samples are approved on time in order to make sure the production schedule is followed. -Resolve any/all production issues (chargebacks, non-compliance issues, fabric SGS testing, cost increase/decrease, garment construction, quality issues, yield increases/decreases, trims, and fabric liabilities).

-Attend and actively participate in fittings with creative director, taking note of all revisions. -Make fit comments/pattern adjustments to all samples (fit and TOP) to send to overseas vendors, utilizing illustrations created with Adobe Illustrator. -Address and troubleshoot issues presented by vendors concerning grading, sample corrections, trims, and other garment fit related issues. -Update technical packages with first prototype fit comments, complete with grading, analyzing and suggesting pattern corrections when needed, and advising on major fit issues as well as improvements on sewing construction/execution. -Daily collaboration with design team and pattern makers to ensure all garment fit is executed to company standard.

-Communicate with Design team, Production Pattern Makers, Production, Creative Director, and vendors to efficiently and accurately produce seasonal line’s initial concept into production. -Handle 20-30 styles per monthly delivery, and up to 100 styles per season, ensuring tech packs and patterns are sent by deadline, artwork developments are completed, samples are on time, and fit of garments are up to company standard. -Update weekly work in progress reports to be reviewed by manager and vice president, helping to maintain and meet daily and weekly goals for timely production and on-time delivery of product(s). -Spec all samples (fit and TOP) samples for production fitting.
