In My Own Words
Hi! I'm a graphic designer currently working in Carlsbad, California. Originally from a little place called Door County, Wisconsin I grew up working on a horsback riding stable. While there I learned the meaning of hard work (Shoveling manure 8 hours a day will do that) and how to work with all sorts of people. During those years I saw magazines and even some DVD's ordered through the mail of surfing and skateboarding in a mystical place called California. I needed to get out there. But first, I had to do some good old fashioned book learning. College took me on a quick detour to Rochester, New York where I spent four years perfecting my art at Rochester Institute of Technology. I designed and managed websites & brands for 30+ web properties across several verticals. I also researched and designed the UI for a custom CMS improving editorial & media buying productivity. These efforts led to a $60 Million acquisition by OpenWeb in January 2022.
