My niche is developing a brand from the ground up. I love being creative, beginning in apparel design and carrying over to all areas where innovation is involved. It's exciting to find new business opportunities by bringing my passion for making beautiful things together with something new we can experience. - Design young contemporary, junior, & missy crossover collections
- In charge of maintaining brand quality & aesthetic
- Set calendar & meet 12 deliveries/year deadlines
- Collaborate with overseas development team while simultaneously managing domestic development
- Create mood board & color palette direction for full collection (knit & woven tops, dresses, soft bottoms & outerwear)
- Create color palette, fabric, & print stories
- Analyze runway trends while keeping it relevant, forward, and age-appropriate

·Strategize branding and launch new divisions ranging from contemporary womens, juniors,
to rock licensing
·Design, merchandise, and head development of cut&sew knits and soft wovens for stores
such as Urban Outfitters, Altar’d State, Earthbound Trading, Forever21
·Increase sales and gain new clients by creating trend-right product with quick
development turnaround
·Grow silhouette library by 400% under tight deadlines and budgets
·Work closely with owner and various departments to implement efficient and effective
design processes
·Art-direct graphics team by analyzing trends and account aesthetics
·Create original artwork, linesheet/lookbook layouts, hangtags, seasonal mood boards &
color palettes

Senior designer & Art director

·Revitalize label appeal by injecting younger and trend-right product for the contemporary/missy
market while staying true to brand DNA
·Work with artists, patternmakers, samplemakers, and local vendors to design and
implement 10 delivery/year collection of womens tops, dresses, jackets, and bottoms
·Develop innovative dye and print techniques to create a product distinct from its
competition, produced locally and overseas

Senior Designer

·Launch new socially-conscious active apparel for mens and womens
·Develop unique branding including establish fit, design sweatshirts, tops, sweatpants, logo,
graphics, and textiles
·Analyze collegiate and emerging millennial market demands and trends
·Establish relationships with licensing directors to approve ground-breaking artworks
within guidelines
·Establish brand-identity and strengthen its appeal, ultimately leading to sale of the brand.

Senior Designer & Graphic Artist

Develop branding concept and design new contemporary division of printed cut&sew knits and light wovens.

Freelance Designer

Expand existing branding concept through leading-edge styling and silhouette design.  Create fresh ideas while using a maximum of 2-3 fabrications

Develop branding and launch mens and womens new contemporary divisions.  Analyze current market needs while understanding design capacity of in-house factory.  Improve quality and expand capabilities of in-house factory through continual innovative development such as construction/embellishment details, print techniques, and allover textile designs.
