Named after one of the most amazing stretches of California coastline and one of the most prolific drummers of all time, Sur Keath Moon is a Creative Director, Art Director, Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Retoucher with extensive experience working with the finest digital media, music, fashion and entertainment clients. His goal is to always work with like minded people that embrace creative and forward thinking. He takes pride in his work. He is very well organized and detail oriented. His interests and education have always drawn him to art and music. He enjoys expressing his passions through his design work. 

Most recently he has experience directing agencies to create key art, directing photographers for key art and gallery photo shoots, designing outdoor and print ad campaigns, professionally retouching photos, creating press kits and press kit packaging, and directing web and mobile content.

FX Networks produces and airs critically-acclaimed content across all of its channels. Multiple award-winning shows and leading marketing campaigns help it pull in awards consistently year after year for its premium content. I direct agencies to create key art, direct photographers for key art and gallery photo shoots, design print and outdoor ad campaigns, professionally retouch photos, create press kits and press kit packaging, and direct web and mobile content for shows such as: Legion, Sons of Anarchy, Mayans MC, The Americans, American Horror Story, Fargo, Taboo, American Crime Story, Baskets, Tyrant, The Strain, Archer, Louie, The Bastard Executioner, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, The Simpsons, Man Seeking Woman, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, The Bridge, Justified, Rescue Me, Married, The League, You’re The Worst, Legit and Wilfred.

Director of Design

A lifestyle fashion brand positioned to bridge the gap between the action sports and contemporary casual market. Moon successfully refreshed and increased sales of the brand by providing strong design direction and distinct, consistent brand "point of view". As a result, brand recognition and visibility increased as the designs were prominently displayed at stores across the U.S. such as Nordstrom, Macy's, Bloomingdales and Metropark. Responsibilities included: apparel graphics andsample production, planning and executing look book photo shoots, managing freelancers, line sheets, trim packages (hang tags, neck labels, tack buttons, rivets, etc.), logo development, garment prints, marketing materials, web design, and trade show materials.

Art Director

A leading watch company, named "Breakthrough Brand of the Year" by Surf Industry Manufacturers Association. Moon successfully revived the soft goods department as an extension of the existing watch brand. Other responsibilities included: t-shirt sample production, catalogs, advertisements (Alternative Press, Revolver, Flaunt, Black Book, etc.), various store p.o.p. items, store windows, business cards and letterhead, postcard mailers, stickers, hang tags, neck labels, trim packages, trade show booths, website updates, marketing materials, etc. Prior to working at Vestal he was chosen to represent them as a model in a print ad campaign that appeared in magazines as well as store windows and banners.

Senior Graphic Designer

Howe is a premium brand inspired by art, music, and travel. Their collections illustrate and
innovative an authentic point of view for the culture of men's fashion. Moon’s designs provided
the company with increased sales and a fresh direction. His focus was on t-shirt design and catalogs. Other responsibilities included: business cards, hang tags, neck labels, textile patterns and trim packages. During and after the time he worked at Howe, he was chosen to appear in runway shows representing the brand.

Graphic Designer

Focused on album packaging (Alkaline Trio, Dashboard Confessional, etc.) and advertisements
(Alternative Press, Rolling Stone, Fader, etc.). Other responsibilities included but were not limited to: tour merchandise, posters, stickers, one sheets, advance copy packaging, store p.o.p., etc.
