In addition to being passionate about technology, I am very active in social impact causes through participation in various pro-bono consulting projects for both non-profit and for-profit organizations who face significant business challenges while trying to affect positive change within the community.  Avid surfer, outrigger canoeing fiend and lover of anything to do with the ocean.


I act as the key technical liaison between business units, sales representatives, and product engineering groups for the Infineon organization in the Americas region focusing on strategic marketing, product definition, benchmark testing, collateral creation, competitive landscape analysis, pricing and customer acquisition for power management devices and audio amplifiers.

*Expanded Infineon’s commercial footprint in the SmartPower Management Solutions market by 65% between 2016 and 2019 by creating product-specific user personas and executing marketing campaigns aimed at capturing key automotive customer design winscapturing key design sockets with automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics customers. Applied the TOE framework to mitigate project risks by defining business goal hierachies and managing product design complexities using PLM software (Enovia) and electronic design simulation tools (Simulia).
*Drove near-term new product introduction processes and long-term roadmaps for a >$100M/year audio amplifier line leading to a 15% annual increase in gross margin.
*Captured system-level requirements to define performance specifications for supporting the development of a new line of small-signal MOSFET devices while evaluating innovation pipelines and current offerings of competitors to develop a market-driven business plan that leverages Infineon’s flexible interfacing capabilities to achieve a 40% share in the global IoT device market.
*Implemented a Python-based statistical analysis model that determined the weights of lead-to-sales conversion attributes for potential customers across multiple messaging channels to identify target market segments. Affected a 50% annual increase in the number of first-time visitors accessing the product landing page and a 30% annual increase in the number of product evaluation kit requests by scaling marketing efforts on these segments.

I am currently working on a team of 4 other UCLA Anderson MBA students as part of a pro-bono consulting engagement with human-I-T, a non-profit organization which provides low-income individuals and other nonprofits with technology, internet, and digital training. My mission for this consulting engagement is to help socially driven organizations such as human-I-T overcome business challenges and realize new revenue streams for sustaining long-term growth and expanding community outreach.

Management Consultant

As a product strategy consultant for Logos, I plan the company’s financial and marketing strategy. My primary goal is to expand the visibility of the Logos brand within the digital user community and nurture the growth of the company by identifying and securing new markets for potential usage. I believe that Logos will emerge as a leading news media platform by providing a medium through which the online community can engage in meaningful exchanges of ideas and dialogue.

*Executed digital ad-testing, user-scoring, and personalized onboarding email campaigns to maximize user outreach resulting in a freemium member-to-paid subscriber conversion rate of 8% within one year.
*Conceived brand positioning based on A/B testing and crowd-sourced feedback to implement a bias-rating feature that differentiates Logos from competing platforms and contributed towards achieving a 30% increase in user engagement as reflected in subscription dynamics and inbound generation KPIs.

Product Strategy Consultant

While pursuing my MBA at UCLA Anderson, I worked on a team of five other fully employed students to develop an investment-grade business plan for an overseas-based client company as part of the program’s capstone project requirement. The business plan’s objective was to substantiate a recommendation for the client (Jutel Oy) to withhold from entering the US market which ultimately helped the company to avoid an investment loss of $281K (NPV). Jutel Oy, based in Oulu, Finland, is a provider of cloud-based software solutions for automating radio broadcasts and managing the distribution of audio assets. The half-year project entailed performing comprehensive competitive analysis, market pricing, and specific market launch strategies. In addition to extensive secondary research, I attended the International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam to perform primary market research by interviewing key stakeholders and competitors within the radio broadcasting ecosystem.

The project culminated with a formal investment quality presentation to a panel of three expert judges. Our team presented detailed, actionable recommendations of how to proceed. In addition, the team provides a detailed financial forecast to support the recommendations.

My contribution to the overall business plan entailed the following:

*Formulated an alternative market-entry strategy for Jutel Oy’s flagship product offering based on data-driven conclusions drawn from research on end-user preferences and practices while identifying KPIs driving the success of competing solutions. Under this plan, Jutel Oy will achieve a 60% reduction in product configuration costs that arise when converting customers from using a legacy client-server based platform to one that operates in the cloud.
*Performed data analysis using Excel and SQL to identify key factors driving the adoption of cloud-based SaaS platform solutions over those using a client-server model prompting Jutel Oy to revise its product positioning.

Developed and implemented Microsoft ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software solutions as a licensed and Gold-Certified Partner of Microsoft Dynamics. Targeted global clients, focusing on mid-size businesses to ensure collection, storage, management and interpretation of data from all facets of business activities including product planning, cost manufacturing, service delivery, marketing/sales, shipping/payment, and inventory/supply chain management.

*Actuated a 60% increase in online sales and web traffic for a commercial laundry equipment distributor after creating an e-commerce platform that saw 40% fewer data entry errors per month.
*Configured MS Dynamics NAV for clients to deliver end-to-end ERP implementation projects including design, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post go-live support.

ERP Software Consultant

Defined marketing channels and commercial platforms for distributing clean energy, power harvesting and patented heat-dissipating LED lighting solutions within commercial, industrial and outdoor lighting markets. Engineered FPGA-based solutions targeting audio/video processing applications leading Japanese security camera manufacturers.

*Secured strategic OEM/ODM partnerships and alliances with leading edge LED companies in Asia (BK Technology) to leverage the best in-class LED packaging technology for reducing manufacturing costs by 25% without negatively impacting performance.
*Spearheaded the integration of BK Technology’s patented heat dissipation design into Conray’s next generation US market-focused outdoor and industrial lighting fixtures thereby satisfying domestic compliance requirements for safety, environmental, and performance standards within the commercial and residential LED markets.
*Evangelized lighting products owned by Conray’s partners for international marketing to chip packaging and luminaire design companies in the US.
*Piloted JVC’s implementation of its first CCTV camera to incorporate a Xilinx FPGA for real-time processing of digital images captured from a CMOS-transistor based image sensor that shipped over 150K units in the Japanese market during the first year of mass production.

Strategic Technology Consultant

*Managed product guidance, vision, planning, benchmark testing, and stakeholder communication while fielding all technical support cases from top-tier licensees. Managed and mentored the FAE team in N. America, Taiwan, and Japan.
*Reduced product certification times by 50% using project management tools (MS Project) across 4 Scrum teams located worldwide to streamline software qualification, critical listening, and acoustic tuning tasks into one collaborative process.
*Commissioned the first ever 5.1 broadcast decoder topology-compliant (Bouygues Telecom’s BBox Sensation) set top box in the French IPTV and digital streaming market. Achieved a record-high adoption rate of 152K new customers within 9 months of product launch.
*Integrated the DTS codec and post-processing libraries into pro-tools encoding solution providers including Ateme, Adobe, Main Concept, and Ericsson while homologating playback performance of DTS-encoded content across mobile, broadcast, and OTT streaming video platforms.
*Created a proof-of-concept prototype and an ROI model to secure a $100K investment buy-in from executive management to fund the creation of the first-ever DTS audio virtualization mobile app that captured a 10% share within the portable media player market and shipped in 1.5B devices within the first year of product launch.
*Executed on-time deliveries of version-specific SDKs to licensees through issue-tracking (JIRA) and project collaboration tools (Confluence) as part of Agile-based program methodologies.
*Enabled 90% of IC licensees to homologate to new licensing requirements for the DTS codec three months ahead of deadline by creating training materials and delivering a five-day technical workshop in Japanese to an audience of over 200 engineers resuling in a 10X increase in the number of training requests, a 6X increase in the number of evaluation software downloads, and a 65% surge in annual licensing revenue for DSP-related IP Core solutions.
