With a distinct focus on Girls only divisions: Twinkle Toes, Girls Fashion, Girls Street, Girls lighted and licensed product. This role entailed a meticulous planning and executing fast to market seasonal trends. Played a key role in brand development to major licensed brands. -Color/Develop Girls seasonal design projects from innovative concept to production alongside technical design in preparing accuracy of specs with proven track record of successful sales through weekly reports -Leading contributor to design development of seasonal trends, themes, colors, market research and styling with the Senior Designer, Girls Directors of Product and VP of Department -Curate and develop initial seasonal mood boards and color palettes to reference for development -Design new outsoles, upper silhouettes, graphics and techniques for current and upcoming top selling outsoles/seasons. Along with providing technical support from initial design to mass production -Lead developer on license product: Shopkins, Line Friends and Hello Kitty -Develop new materials, components and light sequences for Girls Divisions -Frequent overseas travel for trend research, on-site sampling supervision, negotiations, relationship building and development with multiple factories [China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Shanghai] -Attend relevant trade shows and conduct inspiration travel to identify new materials concepts, trends, technology and process. [They include & not limited to: Platform, Magic, Agenda, Liberty Fairs, LA Textile Show, Atlanta Shoe Show, Adobe Max, Children’s Market and many more]
