Talent Development Specialist

Provide support for Environmental Sciences Division Director/ Climate Change Science Program Director/ Chief Scientist. Manage multiple administrative tasks, which include making domestic and international travel arrangements, creating quarterly reports to DOE Sponsors, distributing HTML coded emails using MailChimp to project leads and DOE Sponsors, updating and maintaining group website. Travel Coordinator and lodging expert for the NGEE Arctic project. Coordinate, manage travel logistics and assume the role of onsite host for yearly All-Hands meeting. Execute flawlessly 3 conferences and 6 meetings with multiple guests and staff. Provide exceptional support for the NGEE Arctic project and serve as support interface for all people on the project. Assist with special projects including locating field supplies, packaging and shipping for a project located in remote Alaska. Operate and maintain master calendar of appointments, seminars and meetings via Microsoft Outlook. Leadership role in managing CCSI webpage, blogs, and social media. Facilitating Social Media to reach out to DOE Sponsors, such as Twitter, Facebook, and blogging. Help with graphics needed for NGEE Arctic; Environmental Sciences Division, and Climate Change Science Institute. Subject matter expert in PAS, SAP, PALS, Marketplace, eProp, UCAMS, AOP, FWP to ensure daily activity runs smoothly. Facilitate domestic events/ workshops for sponsors, division, climate institute and other guests. Work closely with project manager and project leaders to evaluate the service requirements. Monitor subcon- tract expiration dates and funding levels. Track and directly report project status updates to project manager. Provide updates to project managers and leads to ensure project remains on schedule and within budget. Make ReSolution entries when needed. Work closely and provide support to Division Administrative Assistant.

Division Support

Orchestrated and hosted all operation functions for 3 divisions including  Associate Laboratory Director, Program Directors, Division Directors but not limited to: 6 high level programmatic meetings at the DOE headquarters in Washington, DC, 10 Nuclear Industry Meetings, 4 yearly offsite All-Hands meetings.
Create and execute CASL Symposium that was featured in American Nuclear Society.
Plan, organize, and execute CASL animation shown to the Secretary of Energy. Creation of CASL.gov and VERA.ORNL.gov
Support VERA Quality Assurance effort which went through an overhaul to adhere to NQA-1 following an audit by industry Westinghouse.
