- Shadow the head event coordinator at weddings, miscellaneous parties, and corporate events to learn her role and assist her in executing a successful event - Attend venue walkthroughs and meet with clients and vendors to address specific floor plans, timelines, logistics, and concerns - Promptly direct and help vendors during set up; placing tables, chairs, linens, name cards, and décor - Aid in supervising production of the event; communicating with all parties, ensuring customer satisfaction, efficiently managing conflicts as they arise, etc.
