I am currently seeking a new opportunity in Program Management, Brand Management, Sales, Marketing, or Event Management. One of my favorite saying goes: "For those who still believe in dreams: chase them. Chase them until you're out of breath. Then keep running".

I have been fortunate enough to have a career path that has been more of a lifestyle than a series of jobs. From the time I danced the Electric Slide with a 90-year-old stroke patient to giving young athletes the opportunity to train with Nike sponsored NFL players Super Bowl 50; I made it my mission to work for companies that creatively inspire others to live their lives to the fullest.

I was an Event Manager for Nike. I worked with Nike West brand teams to connect consumers with the Nike brand. At AMPLA, a subsidiary brand of Quiksilver. I was a project manager for the launch of their running footwear product. I collected trend research, cultivated marketing strategies and created a unique brand identity. 
I represented Competitor Group Inc. (CGI) as an Event Manager. At CGI, I was responsible for the execution of premier road racing events in several major markets. I implemented event specific marketing plans to drive registration and sponsorship deals, resulting in $1.9M in revenue. 

Prior to CGI, I was the Field Representative for Brooks Sports. In this role, I managed an account list of over 100 stores to help drive sales of current Brooks inventory. I taught staff about products, assisted sales associates, hosted contests, and facilitated in-store events. I helped increase market share by 20% in my territory.

•  Identified and implemented end-to-end processes w?hich prioritized feature work and mitigated risks across the 75+ CG Analytics team
•  Scrum Master for CG Data Engineering team to drive the availability of data on time, error-free and analyst ready for the business to make decisions.
•  Owned, facilitated, and drove the on boarding experiences for the CG Data Analysts including the development of an eLearning platform to ensure new hires had the tools and information needed to quickly start performing at the highest level of productivity
•  Responsible for developing best-in-class processes to enable the cross-functional teams tasked with managing a $75M budget specifically for customer contacts to collaborate more effectively
•  Facilitated end-to-end logistics for equipment associated with 2,700 credentialed tax preparers across the US and Canada driving $60M in revenue

Program Manager

• Supervised Nike West brand teams and agencies in the implementation of experiential moments that created a connection to the Nike brand and their products. 
• Managed multiple project budgets of over $10M 
• Developed brand partnerships that elevated the consumer experience and provided forward thinking business opportunities for the Nike brand 



Event Manager

• Cultivated the marketing campaign for the launch of a new brand, AMPLA, and their running footwear product, AMPLA FLY
• Collected market research and analyzed trends, pricing, target demographics and consumer needs to develop a creative positioning for the brand and product launch
• Established and managed client relationships with key retail partners in the Southern California territory 
• Brand liaison for the Genesis Agency, AMPLA’s external sales representative group    
• Forecasted and tracked product inventory for seeding, wear testing and retail
• Contributed to new and current product development, brand positioning, pricing, website design (www.amplasport.com) and wear testing feedback

Brand Manager

•Responsible for the strategic planning, management and execution of premier road racing events including: Carlsbad 5000, WRAL Rock ‘n’ Roll Raleigh Marathon & ½ Marathon benefiting the Jimmy V Foundation,  Janus Rock ‘n’ Roll Denver Marathon, ½ Marathon, 10K & 5K, and Rock ‘n’ Roll New Orleans Marathon, ½ Marathon & 10K benefiting Feed the Children 
•Managed event budgets over $140K 
•Accountable for leading a team to drive $1.9M in revenue 
•Oversaw 50 employees, 200 volunteers, and up to 15,000 participants per event on race weekends
•Developed and implemented an event specific marketing plan to drive event registration including: e-mails, website, social media, radio, print, TV, and grassroots.
•Identified and cultivated key industry partners and sponsorship 
•Conceptualized and administered event related merchandise including: finisher medals, participant apparel, race numbers, and signage
•Project managed a team of 30 internal staff including: operations, travel, sales, entertain

•Managed an account list of 100+ national and local retail locations within the North Carolina territory in driving sales of Brooks products 
•Responsible for driving  a combined $2.5M/45K pairs of shoes (2012) and 3M/50K pairs of shoes (2013) in revenue at wholesale from my national accounts with a yearly territory marketing and product seeding budget of $25K 
•Provided daily feedback and analysis to measure effectiveness of product initiatives and sales strategies; identified new opportunities for growth within or outside the running industry  
•Supervised and mentored a team of 6 Gurus at 75 events yearly across the US. 
•Created and maintained visual displays of Brooks product in the stores 
•Communicated and executed Brooks marketing initiatives within my territory
•Extensive knowledge in the running industry including: footwear,apparel and bio-mechanics

Field Representative (Guru) ;  Event Lead

•Managed admissions and customer relationships for a 100+ bed skilled nursing facility
•Promoted the center’s capabilities to the potential residents and their families through marketing initiatives like an education series on safety in the home and advanced directives 
•Networked with 200+ social workers to help drive admissions and safe discharges.

Marketing and Admissions Director

•	Provided customer and sales support, including gait analysis, for novice-to-advanced runners searching for new equipment and apparel   
•	Worked on the Charm City Event Management Team to administer 50 road races yearly 
•	Assisted with the oversight and development of store-sponsored training groups and programs
