Exposed to the world of IP and licensing, I was responsible for the development and product line oversight of many well known Brands. Primarily utilized for Prince's global product line development
along with hardgoods approval for all sport and active lifestyle brands in the portfolio, including Volcom/Spyder/Airwalk/Tapout.
-Key contributor to the design and development of Prince's 2018-2021 global equipment collections, from product line strategy to design execution. Categories including racquets, bags, footwear, and
accessories.
-Established and oversaw the product approval processes for hardgood categories across sports portfolio resulting in standardizing of submit documentation and licensee communications.
-Generated brand aesthetic strategies and direction of hardgoods through tech packs, creative collateral or product graphic solutions to support partners seasonal development.
-Categories such as but not limited to bikes, sleds, skateboards, snow shoes, protective gear, bags and golf equipment.

Sr Director Product Design (Hardgoods)

Immersed in the outdoor industry I am gaining the experience of building technical outdoor packs along with active lifestyle and travel gear. 

-- Design and development of the company’s core gear product line including backpacks, messengers, luggage and accessories 
-- Research and exploring design concepts through market analysis and ideation sketching 
-- Create CAD drawings and full tech packs for development phases 
-- Communicate with overseas partners to ensure design intent 
-- Review prototypes and produce revision documents to refine execution 
-- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality products according to corporate calendar

Gear/Equipment Designer

Designing products for one of the most recognized brands in the tennis industry gave me the opportunity to re-brand a historical company by envisioning the entire product line.  Involved in every creative aspect of the brand we redefined a vision through innovation and design 

-- (Racquet Cosmetics) Cosmetic execution of racquet products in tennis, squash, racquetball, platform tennis and badminton 
-- (Bag Development) Development and design of racquet sport bag collections including racquet bags, backpacks, duffel bags 
-- (Apparel Design) Creating aesthetic direction and graphic/branding application for on-court apparel 
-- (Footwear Development) Supported color and material exploration, pattern alterations, and design modifications 
-- (Graphic Design) Created all marketing and branding collateral from print/digital ads to catalog and packaging design

Product Design Specialist

Freelance Designer

Here I had the opportunity to design and manufacture corporate product branding emblems for companies like Dell, Motorola, Taylor Made and Harley Davidson.  Engaging and developing with overseas partners for the first time gave me the foundation needed to design better product from a manufacturable stand point. 

-- Designed, engineered, 3D modeled product branding solutions 
-- Liaised and visited vendors in China to align manufacturing capabilities with design vision 
-- Implemented correspondence structure between the U.S. and China design teams 
-- Produced design strategies to identify new opportunities for prospect clientel

Industrial Designer

Diving into the world of architecture, I was exposed to a variety of projects for multiple residential and commercial contracts. 

-- Developed design detail such as 3D modeling, CAD drawings, and renderings to fulfill architectural contracts 
-- Graphic design responsibilities include logos, signage, marketing collaterals and other various branding solutions

Industrial/Graphic Designer

Working for a mid-size design firm I had the pleasure of designing for the world of furniture.  I helped develop lounge seating, office training tables and numerous bariatric products for multiple companies.

-- Designed, sketched and rendered a variety of products within the office furniture industry 
-- Fabricated aesthetic and functional prototypes related to the industry 
-- Performed a variety of quality analysis tests to ensure industry standards were me
