Rachel White has done just about every job required to produce a product. She has been involved in every step from design concept to TOP to retail. Because of this unique experience she has developed the skill to remain calm & focused on problem solving. The goal is to get everyone focused on the deliverable.

She has 16 years of garment experience: 5+ years of pattern making; marking & grading; technical design; & product development experience. Prototype thru production & first thru production pattern making. And 11+ years in retail

Pattern Maker

Responsible for development through production; fittings and revisions; tech packs.
Tech Pack creation: Illustrator flats, construction pages, specs, grade charts, fitting and revisions.
Set up and data migration to new PLM system for department.
Organize workflow based on delivery and production calendars.
Sample management, conduct fittings and revision between sales and overseas factories.
Use extensive knowledge of garment construction and pattern making to create a Block library in order to develop future business and categories. Develop 3D pattern making and rendering. Create in-house garments for Sales and client.

Pattern Maker + Technical Designer

Stretch & woven, shrink & dye, men's & women's, athleisure,
activewear, swim, corsetry, streetwear, evening, RTW & contemporary,

Responsible for product development; first through production pattern
making; fitting & revisions. Track prototypes, samples, & TOP. Manages
projects, clients, sew, tech pack, BOM, & vendors. Dye tests, wash
blankets, shrink reports. Trim & fabric management. Sourcing.

Patternmaker + Tech Design + Prod Dev

Cut & Sew. Pattern making.

Responsible for development of Speciality Concept stores.
Developed staff & merchandising plans for specialty concept stores. Client retention & events, business development, KPI reporting, allocation, product meetings for LA stores, VM, BOH management, LP, HR, recruitment, payroll. Responsible for Santa Monica staff of 15; Malibu staff of 5; +150% sales growth; $1M volume. Winner of 2015 Best of Malibu Awards for Women’s Clothing Store.
