Ideate and develop unique trims solutions through collaboration with designers, product managers, and trim vendors. • Review iterative prototypes and find user-centered solutions • Ideate differentiated design solutions for bags, packs, and headwear products. • Create sketches and tech packs that clearly illustrate construction concepts and design solutions. • Stay informed of relevant trends utilizing trend forecasting services e.g. WGSN and Fashion Snoops. • Actively participate in target consumer communities and feedback groups, including focus groups. • Communicate effectively with overseas partners regarding trims, color, and development. • Regularly participate in field testing of seasonal products and provide feedback to the team. • Create and execute a trim testing protocol to evaluate and develop trims to company standards. • Work together with product managers to align on seasonal product direction and design intent. • Collaborate with tech design team to bring design concepts to life through commercialization. • Determine the product purpose and ensure that the design results in a final product that aligns with the company vision. • Design and create products that are inclusive and improve accessibility to the outdoors for all people. • Utilize 3D modeling software and 3D printing to rapid prototype trim solutions to evaluate function and aesthetics.
