I've a long work history in Retail Operations and Education. My work journey began when I was recruited by Rob Rodrigues of SURE in 2012 to teach skateboarding in New York City on a part-time basis. Once I graduated high school in 2013, I went right into college at Bergen Community College in Paramus, NJ and into the corporate retail sphere at TJMaxx in Edgewater, NJ. At Bergen, I completed my pre-reqs and mostly studied topics related to Electrical Engineering. As an associate at TJmaxx, I learned what it was like to work in a corporate retail environment. During this time I was still teaching skateboarding on a part-time basis and had left Tjmaxx, after nearly two years, to pursue teaching and consulting with SURE full-time during the Summer of 2015. During my last semester of BCC, in the Winter of 2016, I began working part-time at Uncle Funky's Boards, a small business located in Lower Manhattan, as an assistant manager to Jeff Gaites and Kristen Howard. There, I completed day to day management tasks, excelled in customer service, inventory upkeep, and visual merchandising. In sales, I contributed to over half a million in sales every year. It was rare that a day went by where we didn't sell a skateboard. In 2020, inspired by my informal management studies, I went back to school through SUNY Empire. Around this time in 2020, I contributed to Substance Skatepark, another small business in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, founded by Funky's teammate and friend, Andrew Gelles. There, I supervised, worked, and operated Substance on a part-time basis up with our awesome team until Feb 2022. In August 2022, Substance Skatepark had an American Dream Mall pop up in my home state of NJ, which I'd also operated. In Fall 2021, after nearly 10 years of acting as a skateboarding consultant and teaching thousands of skateboard lessons all over Manhattan, I'd left SURE to pursue another consulting and teaching opportunity with Mobile Ed Productions. For 2 years, I consistently taught STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Art, Math) through their museum program at schools across the nation. In May 2023, I left Funky's to pursue Mobile Ed full-time. While working for Mobile Ed, I re-entered the corporate retail sphere with Volcom Stone in May 2024 as a retail supervisor. Additionally, I travel nationally with Mobile Ed and my own company, The Skateboard Storage Corp, mostly through the Sk84Life program, a health and spiritual wellness show, with several performers.

Volcom is a lifestyle brand that designs, markets, and distributes boardsports-oriented products. I'm responsible for visual merchandising, customer service, and floor replenishment in addition to coordinating day-to-day tasks and sales with Store #30's associates and supervisors while reporting to store, regional, and corporate managers.

Mobile Ed Productions2021 – Present
Mobile Ed Productions offers over 30 entirely different educational assembly programs, covering many different aspects of curriculum content and based in State Standards. Through Mobile Ed, I've completed hundreds of STEAM and Skateboarding assemblies all over the nation.

The Skateboard Storage provides a variety of services including Operations Management, Shipping Fulfillment, Inventory Management/Storage, Entertainment, Education, and Retail. It primarily revolves around the production, design, and the history of skateboards with its associated; retail and accessories, streetwear culture, and sports equipment. In addition, we demonstrate skateboarding's relationship with the science of simple/complex machines and health/wellness in school programs all over the United States. In 2024, the company performed over 50 health and wellness shows, nationwide, with notable guest speakers.

Uncle Funkys is a NYC skate shop offering all types of skateboards; longboards, street, cruisers, pool/vert, and vintage skateboards along with a wide selection of custom components and apparel. At Funky's, I assembled skateboards, engaged in and processed direct sales through Square POS, provided customer service, and kept spreadsheets of inventory logs.

Substance Skatepark2020 – 2022
Our mission is to share our love of skateboarding with everyone while protecting our planet. Our values reflect our experiences as Surfers and Skateboarders. Substance was built to be part of the movement of making surfing and skateboarding more sustainable. I began at Substance during their 2020 Summer Camp season. From Summer 2020 to Winter 2022, I managed the front desk on a part-time basis where I processed admission and memberships in Square POS, kept an inventory log, supervised employees, and taught daily skateboard lessons. In August 2022, I worked at the Substance pop up skatepark location in the American Dream Mall in NJ.

SURE Skateboards2012 – 2021
SURE's primary mission is to promote skateboarding as a viable and unique means of local transportation for all age groups. SURE's support of skateboarding begins with comprehensive lessons to all ages of the community, including basic to advanced riding techniques and all safety measures involved. SURE's promotional outreach includes online social networks, group rides, and a collective collaboration with local skateboard businesses and professional skateboarders throughout NYC. Through SURE, I taught private/group skateboard classes on a daily basis to people of all ages and backgrounds. Our weekly drop in groups ran consistently from April 2012-Oct 2021. They are mostly after school, skatepark, and "in the park" or "on the street" based lessons.

Founded as an artist driven independent studio, the company is a source of arts, news and educational programming. At Live One, I assisted in day-to-day tasks, built themed sets for podcast and video interviews, and set up AV equipment.

Overtime2016 – 2016
Overtime is a sports media company geared towards sports fans. The company distributes original sports content on social media outlets. Under WME, I was tasked with connecting Overtime with NYC's Skateboarding Community. Through successful recruitment, marketing, and community outreach techniques, our team finished off NYC's 2016 summer skateboarding season with an event at LES Skatepark entitled "Battle Under the Bridge" with an awards ceremony and after party for all of those involved.
