Graphic Designer (Freelance) | 11/2020 - Current
In November of 2020 I began doing marketing work for my local motorcycle track day organization. I’ve designed ads and flyers to help market and grow their customer base. I have also participated in numerous track day events with this group at race tracks around Texas. (Circuit of the Americas, Harris Hills Raceway, MSRH, MSRC)
Comoto
Product Designer (Full-time) | 07/2021 - Current
I currently have the awesome job of being part of the company that is a leader in retail for motorcycle riding gear and parts. My role as a product designer has me focused on the digital experiences for Comoto’s suite of brands (RevZilla, Cycle Gear, J&P Cycles and REVER).
My teams mission is customer centric and focuses on understanding the problems before the solutions. We are advocates for the customer and work hard to solve their pain points with the digital shopping experience.
I regularly collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams, conduct various forms of research, create wireframes, comps and prototypes and conduct user testing.
My team is curious and likes to know how things work. We are always on the hunt for what new features we can bring to the customers shopping experience and how we can help grow the motorcycling community!
USAA

Some of the methods I use include but are not limited to: empathizing with the users, understanding the problems, collaborating with partners, ideating, prototyping, user testing and iterating. I also create wireframes, high fidelity comps and facilitate critique sessions.
Motorsports Bootcamp
Graphic Designer (Volunteer) | 02/2021 - 07/2021
Motorsports Bootcamp is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide free sports vehicle operation training to active duty military. I worked with the owners of 2 local track day organizations (3:16 Trackdays & Edge Addicts) to come up with the branding for the organization, marketing plan, website creation and designed any marketing materials they needed for the event that takes place at Circuit of the Americas. The website I helped create for them is www.motorsportsbootcamp.com
Cycle Gear
Keyholder (Part-time) | 03/2021 - 07/2021
My duties were to help open and close the retail store, help customers choose the right motorcycle safety gear for them, size customers and ensure proper fitment, maintain the visual presentation of the store, provide options for customers to make purchases in store and online, answer phone calls, and help answer customer questions through online chat platforms.
USAA
Creative Designer II | 06/2015 - 03/2016
In June of 2015 I became converted to a full-time employee at USAA. I continued to design product pages, infographics and tools for use on usaa.com to help improve the users experience. Other duties included working with 3rd party vendors for stock
photography needs, reviewing designers comps and helping to manage brand standards.
USAA
Web Designer (Contractor) | 10/2013 - 06/2015
During my time as a contractor for USAA I created purposeful and intuitive experiences across their digital platforms. This included designing product pages for the storefront, recommendation tools, icons, banners, ads, print materials, supporting campaign
initiatives, collaborating with teammates and helping to ensure brand standards were closely followed. I also acted as a front-end developer and coded my page designs with HTML & CSS.
Emmis Communications
Graphic Designer | 07/2008 - 10/2013
While at Emmis my primary focus was supporting the radio stations 101X KROX and 93.7 KLBJ FM. I utilized my graphic design skills to create web banners, ads, home page takeovers, event logos, custom web pages, games, email blasts, event posters, outdoor banners and fliers. Many projects were self managed and others involved collaboration with the digital design team. I worked closely with sales representatives, on-air talent as well as promotional personnel for most of my projects and campaign initiatives. While at Emmis I also had the opportunity to assist in many photo and video shoots.
House & Home Magazine
Graphic Design Internship | 05/2007 - 08/2007
My duties while at House & Home Magazine were to assist the senior designers in creating magazine spreads and designing ads for the publication. I also worked with the sales representatives to help meet clients needs and attended a few photo shoots of various featured homes.
