Project Management

I earned my Bachelor degree in Marketing with a minor in Communications in May 2011.  Since then, I have been employed in sales, marketing and project/product management roles gaining expertise in market research, identification of niche markets, use of on-line/search optimization, social media marketing, event and conference planning, product branding, competitor analysis, and client presentations. I have gained knowledge in the development and design of client marketing materials as well as being qualified in undertaking trade/consumer campaigns.<br><br>      In each of these roles, I consistently satisfied and exceeded goals and was selected to spearhead a new start-up territory.  I attribute my success to an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to identify target audiences, excellent marketing and communication skills with strong relationship management proficiency. • Develop and execute the overall strategy for the product lines assigned that deliver results that outpace the market. • Responsible for providing periodic reviews of the companies’ competitive position in the market and recommendations to achieve the business unit goals. • Develop product roadmaps and individual product strategies to navigate the new aftermarket technologies introduced by OEM. Providing key insights to timing of aftermarket impacts through industry research and market research from key data suppliers and partners. • Using the collective competitive and market/industry intelligence; compile an active list of potential new products and part numbers within the business unit to maximize segment growth and profitability. Use the list of potential new part numbers to ensure best in class availability. • Using the New Product Launch Process; determine the feasibility of potential new part numbers or products in the context of the market demand, pricing and competitive offerings to maximize revenue growth and profitability as well as drive sourcing/procuring of samples for R&D. • In collaboration with the Engineering, Sales and Category Management, use market data to determine product lifecycle stages to properly manage the product from introduction through end of life. • Interact with sales teams, category management, pricing team, engineering team, content team, technical service and customer service to gather and distribute information. • Collaborate with commercial team to develop profitable business cases for customer opportunities and drive the strategy to win new business. • Demonstrates clear thinking regarding forecast drivers, forecast business impacts, and drives to accurate forecasts. • Participate in data maintenance activities in support of the company’s ERP system. • Support Marketing Managers with key messaging to our end consumers, buyers, and commercial teams.

Senior Product Manager

• Formulates, executes, and maintains product line strategies including life cycle management, growth focused NPD roadmap development, margin expansion, pricing strategy, and overall portfolio commercialization. • Utilizes the 4-P’s of Marketing (Price, Product, Promotion, & Place) in the execution of the defined product line strategy. • Leads cross functional teams, establishes key performance indicators (KPI’s), and collaborates with various departments to ensure product life cycle management of the business line is maintained and effectively managed. • Performs competitive benchmarking and market share/trend analysis. • Develops market insight through the voice of customer research, customer unmet needs, continuous evaluation of market and technology trends to drive product innovation. • Develops customer relationships with the knowledge they will participate in market research and provide feedback on early prototypes. • Oversees the New Product Development experience from VOC to concept and through product launch. • Drives 80/20 complexity reduction across the product lines including product rationalization. • Drives margin expansion for the Product Line by working with Operations and/or Supply Chain to drive cost reductions (PPV), Engineering to drive VA\VE projects, and finally with Commercial on pricing. • Works with Engineering to identify root causes to product issues and resolve customer problems.

Global Product Manager
