Mychal McCormick

I am responsible for managing, growing and caring for Osprey’s international sales partners for the LATAM region. Focus is on sales and production growth, market-specific development plans, Distributor communication and education, new market development and problem solving. My secondary role is to support the International Team to enhance the sales, marketing and logistic capabilities of the department by executing administrative and reporting duties and generally supporting workflow and increasing output.

Account management for the Great Lakes territory. Worked closely with outside reps to manage order books for all independent retailers in MI, OH, IN, and KY. Developed strong relationships with all territory retailers and with the outside reps. Managed pre-season, backorder, cross-selling within the Great Lakes territory and occasionally with retailers outside my territory. Provided high levels of customer service to all retailers, as well as to all inbound end-user calls and emails. Developed and retained a high level of product knowledge spanning multiple categories (hike, bike, climb, ski, travel).

Worked in multiple departments selling camping, climbing, travel, and apparel to customers. Develop and communicate strong product and activity knowledge to answer any customer questions or complaints. Focused on exceeding individual membership sales goals, and daily store sales goals as part of a team. Provided customer service pre-sale, during sale, and post-sale for any and all customers.
