Lead Production Planner

Engineering & Production

Highly adaptive and accountable professional with an attention to detail and a deep understanding of all aspects of product manufacturing. Very resourceful in problem solving with an extensive focus on production planning and logistical solutions.

Generate purchase orders and requisitions for the procurement of goods from both international and domestic suppliers
Place the purchase orders with suppliers to secure a sales confirmation in which to enter into a binding agreement
Performs all purchase order maintenance functions including updating delivery dates, cost corrections, etc.
Liaise with Suppliers, and Freight forwarders to ensure product arrives on time at the correct destination.
Resolve all invoicing, quantity count, quality control issue discrepancies with respective intercompany departments.
Review Demand and conduct intercompany transfer/purchases


Build and maintain relationships with 30+ vendors globally
Reconcile PO qty to purchase requisitions qty prior to PO issuance
Create and distribute purchase orders and ensure vendor validation of key data (lead time, factory, MOQ, tooling, etc.)
Detailed weekly review of WIP report. Update milestones in SAP accordingly (accurate PO Ex-f, delivery dates, and required release dates)
Assist the warehouse in creating and maintaining ASN uploads 
Consistently maintained at least 93% EXF & 96% on time arrivals
Weekly conferences with Europe and Asia to maintain global continuity of production 



Production Planner

Collaborate with the sales team to manage sales order creation
Coordinate with production planning and traffic to obtain accurate production reporting and necessary shipping documents
Create shipping manifest and outbound coordination with DC
PO reconciliation in SAP to recognize revenue & initiate invoicing
Work with Fox accounting & distributor for receivables collections
Manage Asia Pacific and Latin American distributors needs and advise solutions
Host seasonal KPI meetings to address failures and successes


International Sales Operations

	Officiate over 350 MX and MTB accounts, work with outside partners to develop sales and territory growth
	Monitor accounts buying history to discover new sales and missed categories opportunities
	Support Outside sales reps and advise on possible sales opportunities
