Retail Buyer

Sr. Merchandise Analyst

Develop the assortment plan and buy plan for all Oakley retail stores (52+ O Stores) for men's and women's apparel, footwear, and accessories.
Steady market travel to retail stores to determine regional buying needs and demographic insight.
Partner with the hard goods buyer and soft goods Vault buyer in buy planning as well as organizing product programs.
Establish product flows in stores based on season and location.
In season planning including markdown strategy and promo strategy.
Soft goods forecasting for the production department for each season; initial line review forecast based on a style level and secondary forecast based on style/color level.
Weekly and monthly comp analysis by category, class, and subclass. 
Weekly and seasonal sell thru analysis for in depth in season product management. 
Partner with merchandising managers and production teams for retail specific product needs for in-line product as well as develop special make-ups (SMU's) applicable to the Oakley retail 

Buyer/Planning/Allocation Analyst/Distribution Analyst/Ops Coordinator

Attend market twice a year and make buying decisions on merchandise based on top selling reports, style analysis, size analysis, boutique feedback.
Work with an outside vendor (Marvin Richards) for Coats.
Write orders for the Basics department and Coats department. 
Transfer numerous pieces of merchandise (average of 450 pieces a week) from over thirty boutiques throughout the United States and Canada.
Key purchase orders, key special orders for client requests, and stock balance.
Input monthly markdowns on merchandise for multiple departments including Collection, Day Couture, Sport, Accessories, Shoes, and Evening Couture.
Support all of the buyers on a daily basis with a wide variety of duties and answer incoming calls from store managers requesting additional information on product.
Analysis of furs, consignment coats, and basics weekly; run numerous reports including top seller reports.
Allocate and maintain stock in the Basics department for over thirty boutiques.
