I am an athlete that has always loved being outdoors and enjoying nature.  I love getting outside and bringing friends along the way for those awesome, life-changing experiences.  This is why I want everyone to have the opportunity for similar life-changing opportunities while enjoying and having fun in life.  Whether I am getting them to ride a mountain bike to climb mountains, or a set of insoles so they can actually enjoy their time outside hiking or running, as long as I can help people enjoy their life, that is all I want.

Being the Event Outreach Manager for Fleet Feet Sports meant that I was the voice for Fleet Feet at different events such as Workplace Fit, a local running event, or a health fair.  This allowed me to better reach out to the customer base who doesn't already make it into our store and maybe to people who have no idea what our company does.  Being able to help people become more active in their lives or be able to move around more comfortable in their workplace has made this position be more rewarding for me.

Event and Outreach Manager

I worked as a sales associate to bring the best customer service I could to the cycling customer.  I am a passionate cycling athlete that constantly stays up to date with all of the modern cycling technologies in the industry.  I learned to consistently change the marketing displays and location of products to better reach the customer and sell the products that were not selling well.  The use of social media to advertise store events, products, and services is something I am continually learning from and becoming more experienced with.

Sales Associate

I had the opportunity to work with The Hive on finding a social media management program to better manage their different social media accounts so that they can do a better job of promoting the brand that is The Hive.  I did this by researching and evaluating multiple programs to find the most efficient example for this small of a company.  I also had the opportunity to work on the evaluation of different media advertising companies to provide a proposal for which companies the The Hive should use in their 2017 advertising plans.  This meant that I had to research each advertising company while weighing in their market impact and the cost of using each media channel.

Internship

I worked as a sales associate at Fleet Feet Santa Rosa to help bring customers a joyful experience with any running/walking related products and fitting service.  I worked closely with our shoe buyer on what choices of shoe and apparel inventory that we would carry during each season.  I was very experienced with all types of technology that was involved in the customer's running/walking buying decision and was frequently used as a resource with my knowledge of these technologies.  Customer service was always the store's main competitive differentiator with it's competition and it was a topic that us, employees, would continue to adapt and change to better help our customers.
