Plainly, I used radios and guns to help control air strikes in view of targets, and I got to do it all over the world with lots of different people of divergent nationalities, views, languages, and capabilities. I trained with the Georgians in Germany, Swedes in Scotland, Japanese and Brits in California, and had the honor of deploying to Helmand Province, Afghanistan in support of combat operations.
