In My Own Words

I thrive at the intersection of innovation, global operations, and sustainability—where strategy meets soul.

With over 20 years of experience across product development, sourcing, and supply chain leadership, I’ve built a career that spans continents, cultures, and industries. From Los Angeles to Lima, Arizona to South Korea, I’ve led cross-functional teams, built ethical vendor partnerships, and scaled product lines for startups and global brands alike.

But beyond metrics and timelines, I care most about people, the ones making the products, wearing them, and building the systems around them. That’s what drives my commitment to sustainability: not just efficiency, but equity. Not just compliance, but care.

Whether I’m restructuring sourcing strategies, expanding brand assortments, implementing PLM/ERP systems, or mentoring the next wave of global leaders, I bring curiosity, cross-cultural fluency, and a relentless drive to improve what’s possible.

✨ What I bring to the table:

✔ Sustainable Sourcing & Global Supply Chain Strategy

✔ Vendor Development & Cross-Border Relationship Management

✔ Product Innovation | Knits, Wovens, Activewear, Outerwear

✔ Cost Optimization & Duty Engineering

✔ Factory Compliance & Ethical Manufacturing Oversight

✔ PLM & ERP Implementation | Process + Systems Design

✔ Fluent Spanish | Cross-Cultural Leadership | Remote Team Management

✔ 3D Product Creation (Optitex, Browzwear)

🚀 What’s next: I’m focused on sustainability-forward roles that fuse business impact with human-centered design. If you care about building smarter, kinder systems—we should connect.

Work Experience

Sourcing and Production Manager

Bad Birdie Golf

2021 – 2025

I joined Bad Birdie at a pivotal moment; just as the brand was evolving from niche golf polos into a full-scale apparel and accessories company. I was brought in to build the sourcing and production engine from the ground up, and did just that.

I led global vendor strategy, product development, and cross-functional systems implementation, helping scale the brand while ensuring alignment with quality, sustainability, and speed-to-market goals. At every turn, I brought both operational rigor and a human-centered lens to decision-making.

Key Contributions ✔ Built and led a global sourcing network, prioritizing ethical partnerships, cost efficiency, and supplier alignment with brand values. ✔ Developed and executed duty engineering strategies that preserved product integrity while significantly improving margin. ✔ Spearheaded the adoption of Centric PLM and a company-wide ERP, streamlining workflows and increasing transparency across teams. ✔ Expanded the brand’s assortment beyond polos and hats, launching new product categories that resonated with a growing consumer base. ✔ Championed sustainable logistics, reducing reliance on air freight and driving more responsible production timelines. ✔ Operated as a strategic thought partner across departments, bridging design, merchandising, sales, marketing, and operations to turn vision into scalable execution.

Apparel Product Developer

Kontoor Brands

2020 – 2021

At Wrangler, I was part of a legacy brand with a modern mission—developing innovative, cost-effective, and durable products for a global customer base. I collaborated cross-functionally to develop and engineer tops and outerwear across multiple tiers (Modern, Traditional, Mid-Tier, and Special Products), ensuring technical precision, cross-team alignment, and margin accountability.

As the first U.S. role I stepped into after a decade leading global supply chains abroad, this position sharpened my ability to work within highly structured systems while still thinking creatively and pushing for efficiencies.

Key Contributions ✔ Partnered with design, pattern, and international teams to execute collections from concept to pre-production—ensuring accuracy in specs, costs, and margin targets. ✔ Re-engineered a key garment to reduce costs by 30%—preserving design integrity while improving profitability. ✔ Spearheaded wash efficiency improvements, leading to a $0.04 per garment savings with six-figure impact across seasons. ✔ Delivered timely and detailed tech packs, trim specs, and construction standards that aligned with both brand and sourcing requirements. ✔ Played a key role in aligning legacy systems with evolving business strategies—balancing structure with agility in a fast-shifting market.

Global Development and Sourcing Strategist

Independent Consultant

2014 – 2020

As an independent consultant based in Peru, I helped brands bring products to life through partnering with mills, factories, and design teams to develop technically sound, ethically sourced apparel across global markets. I operated at the intersection of product innovation, sourcing strategy, and cross-cultural collaboration, often navigating complexity in fast-moving environments.

I worked hand-in-hand with vendors and mills to create new fabrications, optimize cost structures, and support sustainable practices while ensuring the finished product aligned with brand identity and market needs.

Key Contributions ✔ Partnered with mills and manufacturers to co-develop core and seasonal fabrications—driving innovation while ensuring commercial viability. ✔ Acted as a strategic bridge between U.S.-based brands and Latin American vendors, aligning on cost, compliance, and creative execution. ✔ Led textile and product development initiatives that resulted in a 52% sales increase over two years. ✔ Re-engineered pricing and development processes, achieving a 15% reduction in average unit cost. ✔ Directed seasonal R&D with vendors to present fresh silhouettes, fabrications, and finishes, contributing to 15% average seasonal sales growth. ✔ Championed factory and mill relationships that prioritized sustainability, compliance, and long-term collaboration. ✔ Oversaw production calendars and lead-time forecasting to support growth and inventory readiness across multiple client categories.

I was then responsible for negotiating pricing and working with the heads of each department to work on solutions if costing was not workable for a client. We successfully worked together with a 90% on time shipping and 100% growth in the two years we were functioning.
