Matthew Barker

As a Southern California native, I have experienced and learned from a variety of unique people and cultures which have influenced and driven my inspirations as an artist. Additionally, growing up in the center of the action sports industry has and continues to play an essential role not only in my creative endeavours, but also in my daily life--I still love to surf, snowboard, and skate and you can often find me in Malibu or Huntington Beach getting a weekly dose of waves. These experiences and interactions have helped shape my work professionally as a graphic designer across many different types of mediums and in various different industries ranging from sports to electronics to children’s toys. I have designed for a large range of age groups and many of the products I have designed for are seen and sold in stores nationwide and internationally including: Amazon, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, and Target, to name a few. I am backed by a BA in graphic design and am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, and both Mac and Windows operating systems. I enjoy collaborating with clients, creative teams, and production professionals--especially those who share a common passion for action sports. I look to deliver unique artwork and designs and am always looking for a new opportunity and an exciting project.
