Matthew Bacchus

I help with managing media, draft content, community relations and public affairs for different construction engineering projects. The main projects I work with are California High Speed Rail Palmdale to Burbank section, CP-4 section, and personal AC for Metrolink. I draft responses to the public's questions/concerns for work improvements on the CHSR and create content for the Public Outreach Plan. For Metro, I have helped organize community meetings allowing the public know about LinkUS. I also am on the re-branding team for MBI which entails website design and past client outreach with CRM software Plan Plus Online.

I had the privilege of coaching around 30 high school athletes in sprints for the track and field team. I coached Freshman -Senior boys and girls in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m and 4x400m relays. More than half of my students progressed and hit their personal bests throughout the season.

I helped manage a number of stores in the North Texas region of Dallas. While creating a comfortable environment for clients, I learned many sales tactics and customer relations through working with Mattress Firm. In my second month of sales, I had made a top ten list for monthly sales which put me past my draw. Responsibilities included maintaining a sales budget, customer relations/sales, inventory, as well as upkeep for each of the stores.

Worked on event coordination for the annual 48 Hour Film Slam which is hosted by Ghostlight Creative. I created a calendar for the team to follow starting with the event date first and worked backwards to what needed to be done in the present. I also learned how to edit a web page with updating content and as well as web design.

I managed 10 technicians in working with HVAC and GeoThermal air conditioning units while also serving as a marketing assistant. Some of my job requirements were to handle the tax credit information for each client as well as find out new ways to promote the company through radio ads, billboards, and various marketing materials.

I was the PR manager for EDM musician woodrowgerber. My job was to deal with communication between overseas companies/venues for possible concert events. My job consists of pitching, proposal write-ups, and social media influence. I also was the producer and coordinator for a music video shoot for the song "Artax".

I helped produce the musicians/artists for an award winning web series as well as influenced the social media presence.We brought on to our show two popular artists: Listener and From Indian Lakes. I was the liaison for both artists catering to their needs and managerial requirement

I managed and coordinated multiple humanitarian events for the Los Angeles community. We provided services for creatives in the entertainment industry to give back to the community. I also managed a few social media platforms to reach out to possible "Red Eyers" such as Facebook, Instagram, and email blasts.

I gave tours of Biola University for prospective students as well as called and organized prospective student events on campus.
