Product Development Manager -Metal Mulisha

• Strong cost negotiating  skills.  • 9+ years of experience  areas of Product life cycle  including Development,  Production, and Technical  Design.  •Competency in Excel,  WebPDM and PLM.  •Understanding of the  manufacturing processes for  a diverse range of product  types.

• Oversee WIP reports for all factories and ensure they are updated and accurate regularly.
• Conduct fittings when needed, track product stages and delivery, approve lab dips, artwork, fabric and trims.
• Request all necessary testing required for CPSIA, review test results and issue COC’s for all assigned product.

Production Associate - Knits

Responsibility and ownership of the product creation process from design handoff to production ready for assigned products, with an emphasis on quality development and timely completion of all tasks in accordance with the operating calendar.?
• Complete creation, revision, and management of the designated PLM responsibilities for assigned styles.?
• Review prototypes for quality, execution fit, and provide information to factories in order to make necessary changes clear and organized.
?• Analyze costing and suggest solutions to pricing concerns while still maintaining the product quality.
?• Communicate and coordinate all necessary information that supports on time delivery for all assigned styles.?
• Costing negotiations for each style and responsibility for Gross Margin of individual products and category.
?• Maintaining Development Schedule for assigned styles?
• Problem solving to bring innovative designs and new constructions to fruition.

Product Developer- Denim, Boardshorts, and Fleece

Processed fit comments with photographs and sketches for fit corrections. 
Created and updated detailed technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator.
Evaluated samples against specifications for measurements and construction   compliance, noting discrepancies and communicated changes to vendors.
Tracking  fit samples through written communications to overseas vendors.
Actively participate in fit sessions
Work with model agencies to evaluate and measure fit models.

Assistant Technical Designer-Sprockets

Effectively communicated key production changes with Overseas Offices in order to meet manufacturing deadlines.  Collaborate with both Design and Technical Design teams to set standards for apparel.  Interact with merchandising teams to resolve issues and help meet sales goals.  Communicate with Transportation team to ensure product reaches stores in timely manner.  Attend line adoption and selection meeting to gain a better understanding of product execution.
