I am an action-oriented leader! I bring a technical mindset and efficiency, process-based methodology to creative, development and production projects. I am extremely detail-oriented - successful at tracking and analyzing each tiny detail within a product, while also maintaining a macro vision towards achieving the strategic, long-term goals of the business and/or product at hand.

One of my greatest strengths lies in the strong relationships I build and maintain with every vendor partner, despite their location nor native language. I have experience in sourcing new domestic and international vendors, resourcing established volume-driven programs, vendor onboarding, establishing vendor manuals, managing to production requirements, and regulating compliance through fabric and product testing. I have an intuitive sense for bringing order to chaos, and driving the product team towards success despite unforeseen challenges. 

My passion remains in supporting fashion and lifestyle brands that have a hand in pushing the fashion industry towards greater sustainability.

Senior Manager - Product Development and Production

Senior Product Developer

- Product development with a specialty in knitwear, swimwear, hybrid bottoms, garment dyed apparel, and scalable sourcing for volume programs
- Managing fabric/materials liabilities and readiness for chase strategy
- Production planning and management for core, volume-driven, all-year-round product lines
- Resourcing of core product lines to drive margin, quality, and sourcing improvements
- Collaborative work with the Planning team to maintain demand-driven production with the shortest possible bulk lead times

Product Development and Production

- Manage all partnerships and communication for new development with full-package international vendors
- Collaborate closely with design team to manage all products in development, including new lab dips and handlooms for core/carryover products
- Work cross-functionally with merchandising and planning teams to iterate seasonal assortment based on evolving consumer feedback and product requirements
- Cost engineering FOB / ELC with the goal to supersede target margins
- Support creative and technical design teams in all product fittings
- Final approval on the Bill of Materials within PLM generated tech packs
- Weekly reporting to merchandising, planning, and production teams on the timely development of all new products to bulk start
- Ongoing work to mitigate risk within the supply chain as each new product / capsule collection is developed
- Present new product opportunities to design and merchandising teams for adoption

Product Developer

- Managed specs to match fit intent for all products, working primarily with the PLM system
- Owned technical design communication with all vendors
- Completed the fit expansion into tall size ranges for core t-shirt programming, based on extensive fitting data, return rate data, and competitive product evaluations

Technical Designer

- Managed full product lifecycle for all esby apparel, soft goods, and leather handbags from initial concept through to timely receipt
- Lead design development, collection assortment, and sustainable sourcing driven by sales goals and target margins
- Iterated planned product assortment until the last minute based on target market demands, evolving budgets, manufacturer availability and constraints
- Managed deep relationships, technical communication, and costing negotiations with multiple cut/sew, knit, dye, and wash facilities within the U.S.
- Established new, successful production and logistics partners - diversifying to mitigate risk within the supply chain
- Regularly work to minimize carbon footprint and maximize budget in air vs. freight shipping of bulk fabrics
- Final approval on all tech packs, materials planning and buying, and product quality assurance
- Developed global seasonal calendar to track ongoing development and production processes and improve front-end efficiency
- Developed new tech pack formats, product development standards, product file management, and PO systems to streamline and reduce opportunity for error
- Size chart development with on-going analysis to improve size/fit consistency; lead all fit meetings with wide size range of models
- Produced esby’s first custom print design and custom fabric developments
- Lead all domestic and international design and sourcing trips
- Expanded into lean production strategies, manufacturing solely based upon demand and maintaining lean fabric inventory by regularly developing liability fabrics into new capsule collections
- Launched program to recycle and resell gently used esby product
- Worked closely with CEO, COO, and Director of Merchandising to develop seasonal flow strategy and execute in a timely, efficient manner
