Colosseum Athletics is a privately owned collegiate apparel manufacturer. The company holds over 400 licensing agreements with colleges and universities across the nation. As of 2020 Colosseum Athletics ranked as the 4th largest collegiate apparel company in the US. As a men’s designer, I’m responsible for creating exceptional and functional mens collegiate, active and outdoor apparel. 

Designer
Create and develop three lines under Colosseum including Realtree (Outdoor & Fishing line) and Colosseum Active (Active line) and Colosseum College (Collegiate line) from conceptualization to completion of garments under tight schedule.
Collaborate with Research and Development team in developing color story and determining color standards; present information to the Product Development Manager.
Build detailed tech packs from visuals to detail and art pages; monitor completeness and accuracy of tech package information concerning color, model, size, fabric and trim quality, and construction.
Oversee that every detail, from fabric and trim selection up to editing, is strictly examined to ensure perfect fit of garments and high quality finished product.
Held responsible for updating sketches, visual pages, and tech packs; accounted for sample revisions, fitting approvals.
Work with head of department to coordinate fabric and trim development.
Oversee the approval of fabrics, trims and print strike-offs throughout the design development process. 
Research markets to identify trends, new fabrics and construction techniques.
Analyzed designs and assessed them to come up with enhanced solutions.
Assist the head designer before and during sales meetings. 
Extensively research creative ideas and provide design input into relevant collections.
Prepare artworks and all artwork information for Product Development hand off.

 Designer

iny Turnip is well known for its unique, rare products we provide exceptional services and strive to be different, unusual and remarkable. As a children's and women’s assistant designer I’m responsible for specs and costing of every seasons garments. Through time I introduced a bedding line for the new and current Tiny Turnip children. 

Associate Technical Designer
Select colors, patterns and fabrics and create themes for collections.
Knowledge of production pattern making, spec revisions, garment construction, technical drawing, measuring, fitting, and product costing
Develop complete Tech Packs with detailed specifications, fabrications, and  technical drawings from designer’s initial sketch, paper pattern or garment
Use computer-aided design programs (CAD) to create designs.
Manage technical product development process from CAD, tech pack, fit sessions, final sample approvals.
Identify and address key issues and challenges in construction/manufacturing 
Oversee the creating, manipulating and modification of technical drawings of owned category products, using Adobe Illustrator based on the Product Brief driven by Product Line Managers (PLM)Communicate daily domestic manufacturers
Accountable for staying on calendar, adhering to process, prototype evaluations, accuracy of the Technical Data Package and follow through on accuracy of sales sample and production data packages
Create detailed Line sheets and Flats in illustrator.
Knowledge in sourcing, costing and negotiate pricing.
Knowledge of garment construction, and textiles finishes 
Familiar with print design, repeats and manufacturing


Associate Technical Designer

Aloha Sunday is well known for its contemporary men's range and finely tailored clothing. Inspired by life in the tropics and other resort locales, Aloha Sunday is designed and manufactured in the USA. An Associate Product Developer is responsible sourcing and negotiating best price without compromising the quality of fabric predominantly knits and cottons from off shore resources and domestic. 

Associate Product Developer
Skillful in negotiating with foreign and domestic vendors for the best prices without compromising the quality of fabrics and trims, as well as review any defects, center lines, etc. and request replacement from vendor and issue appropriate debit.
Maintained and tracked inventory of piece goods at each stage of the production.
Managed projects according to timeline and seasonal changes.
Remained relevant and trend-savvy by staying current with fashion trends.
Created spec sheets with all dimensions and measurements, including sketches fabric swatches, trims also in charge of prototype of the clothes, based on the head designer's request. 
Create designs, line plans and manage production from prototype to production domestic and overseas.

Associate Product Developer

Dian Austin Couture Home is internationally known for creative designs hand-crafted using an array of exotic fabrics from all over the world.  An Associate Designer is responsible for preparing and completing projects directed by the Senior Designer, which entails hand-selecting fabrics of the highest grade for products, develops concepts, assemble presentation boards for meetings and assist in the development of seasonal designs. 

Associate Designer
Proficient technical skills in design and development for couture bedding. High ability to develop from concept to final product, original bedding designs for Dian Austin Couture Home.  Communicated effectively with suppliers domestic and foreign as well as interact effectively with both Senior Designer and vendors along with several other departments, including purchasing, marketing and production. 
Responsible for sourcing, selecting and buying fabrics and trims. Excellent knowledge of construction, trim and fabric characteristics to be able to work with technical designer to make sure the actual merchandise has the same look and feel as intended on the concept boards.     
Knowledgeable and eager to investigate and develop fashionable trends with an emphasis on Dian Austin Couture Home website. Create inspiring and exquisite concept boards to present along with Senior Designer to Neiman Marcus Assistant Buyer for approval. 
Product Manager is responsible for tracking follow-up shipments from domestic and international vendors and supervises the stock and shipment of merchandise. A Product Manager possesses an inherent knowledge of the home décor product development process and planning associated quality control and delivery scheduling.
Responsible  for the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes. Ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and at the highest level of quality. Also work as a liaison among different departments, e.g. suppliers, and the design team.
Involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage. Also involved with product design and purchasing to make sure all specs are correct before producing first sample and make sure all parts have been received to start production. 
Organized and prioritized all orders, and made sure the On Order Report reflected all open and future orders. Responsible for meeting dead lines and ship all orders complete before the canceled date. Ship and tracked first samples delivered to Neiman Marcus for photograph. 
Design Assistant is responsible for researching current trends for luxurious home décor.  Creation of specification sheets containing all dimensions, measurements and sketches of the bedding pieces. Have the ability to multi-task and meet fast changing deadlines and carry out directions as assigned accurately and quickly. Creative and out of the box thinker with a strong design aesthetic is essential.
Responsible for creating patterns for all custom designs, and determine the best layout of pattern pieces to minimize waste of material. Examine sketches, samples and design specifications to determine quantities, shapes, and sizes of pattern parts. Also responsible to determine the amount of material of fabric required to make a product. Discuss design specifications with designers, and convert their original models of custom bedding pieces into patterns that can be laid out on a length of fabric.
Responsible for creating spec sheets with all dimensions and measurements, and sketches of the bedding pieces, as well as making changes to the prototype of the bedding, based on the head designer's request.
Savvy in researching current fashion styles and analyze customer demand. As well as an expert in  applying  creative ideas and possess  high knowledge of color combinations.
