In My Own Words
My career in the Outdoor Recreation Industry began almost 5 years ago as a biking and backpacking instructor at a summer camp. Since then I have worked at Snowshoe Mountain as a ski instructor as well as running the mountain biking program at Radford University Outdoor Programs. I am well versed in the planning and facilitation of several different types of events and programs and as a recent graduate, I am ready to begin moving into a professional role in the industry.

At the club I am responsible for the planning and efficient facilitation of a number of different types of programs from 7 weeks of children's summer day camps to the mountain biking program that I started when I began working here. It is my job to oversee these programs and make sure they are marketed correctly both by word of mouth and on social media as well as ensuring the safety and fun of all participants involved.
