My career in the Outdoor Recreation Industry began almost 5 years ago as a biking and backpacking instructor at a summer camp. Since then I have worked at Snowshoe Mountain as a ski instructor as well as running the mountain biking program at Radford University Outdoor Programs. I am well versed in the planning and facilitation of several different types of events and programs and as a recent graduate, I am ready to begin moving into a professional role in the industry.

At the club I am responsible for the planning and efficient facilitation of a number of different types of programs from 7 weeks of children's summer day camps to the mountain biking program that I started when I began working here. It is my job to oversee these programs and make sure they are marketed correctly both by word of mouth and on social media as well as ensuring the safety and fun of all participants involved. 

Outdoor Recreation Coordination Intern

- Ensuring proper and complete assembly for both floor and customer ordered bicycles in a timely manner.
- Planning a build schedule based on the supply chain logistics and staff schedule that would allow for the highest level of efficiency


Assembly Lead/ Business Intern

-      Provide a professional and immersive customer service experience both in the office and while on expeditions and trips. I was responsible for the planning and successful execution of all mountain biking trips as well as the maintenance of our program and rental fleets.
-	Managing all aspects of digital marketing including developing and executing social media campaigns and campus relations events..


Mountain Biking Program Lead/ Trip Leader

- Through the use of excellent customer service skills and sales tactics, my job was to create a seamless bicycle buying experience for customers as well as providing after sales support to customers. 
- Assisting the service department in mechanical tasks depending how busy our labor queue was as well as writing quotes and estimates for customers in search of labor or upgrades.
