— LisaLisa Lazarus is a California native.
She was born into a family of artists. The most influential was her uncle, Leon Bakst. He designed costumes and sets for the Russian Ballet. She began designing at age seven and was encouraged to continue her talent.
She earned her degree in Fashion Design from FIDM at age 22 in Los Angeles. However, Lisa credits most of her experience from working with talented teams, visiting overseas factories, New York showrooms, studying in the FIDM library and traveling abroad.
She has designed for some of the biggest names in the action sports industry including: Reef, Hurley, Pac Sun, Reebok, Target and Kohl's . She has a passion for apparel, accessories and print design. Her designs have graced the pages of many publications such as Teen Vogue, Seventeen and Surfer Magazine.
