Lisa

Lisa Lazarus is a California native.

She was born into a family of artists. The most influential was her uncle, Leon Bakst. He designed costumes and sets for the Russian Ballet. She began designing at age seven and was encouraged to continue her talent.

She earned her degree in Fashion Design from FIDM at age 22 in Los Angeles. However, Lisa credits most of her experience from working with talented teams, visiting overseas factories, New York showrooms, studying in the FIDM library and traveling abroad.

She has designed for some of the biggest names in the action sports industry including: Reef, Hurley, Pac Sun, Reebok, Target and Kohl's . She has a passion for apparel, accessories and print design. Her designs have graced the pages of many publications such as Teen Vogue, Seventeen and Surfer Magazine.

Designed and developed 50 piece per season private label line for Kohl’s: Sonoma and MUDD. Merchandise line and present product information to sales team and clients at market week in NYC showroom. Signed company up to 1% For The Planet in a grass roots effort to preserve the environment. Customer Service- answer phones re: web sales and support in response to technical issues and concerns. Manage Website - update product, photos, description and inventory Supported Sales Manager with purchase orders, invoicing and packing list. Manage Catalog - write copy and photograph 35 products .

Design and developed 35-50 piece lines for men’s, young women’s and children’s: handbags, luggage, belts and hats for Hurley & Reebok. Merchandise line, prepare sales reps for meetings with presentations. Execute copy and photograph product for web, catalog, and trade shows. Coordinate design effort with head buyer to create private label head wear & bag for Reebok Outlet Stores. Design and develop SMU’s for Pac Sun.

Designed, developed and merchandised 50 pieces per season Men’s board shorts, walk shorts and pants.
