In my own words

From the moment I started my degree, I knew that this was the path to follow.

I am passionate about advertising, communication, and marketing. Since the third year of my double degree, I have done internships in different companies and areas. For three months, I was on the radio doing the program A Mediodía, Alegría! on ArcoFm. I was the third voice of the program, as well as being in charge of the post-production and social networks of the magazine. In the summer, as I was moving back to Valencia, where my parents live, I was proactive and got an internship at a sports app, KANARA Sport, in the communication and marketing department. After six months of internship, I was hired for another six months, completing a year with them and seeing how the app grew both in users and its social networks. However, due to financial problems, as they were a start-up, they couldn't renew my contract. So, I looked for other internships and ended up at QuingMedia, the first experience I've had in a digital marketing agency. I was with them for 6 months; I learnt about email marketing and how it works. I had the possibility of a contract, but a former university professor offered me the internship I'm doing now.

Tasks: Plan Media Content. Organize the clients' agenda. Market research for potential clients. B2B content (LinkedIn). Establish a relationship with ambassadors. Generate B2B presentations and meetings. // Experience gained: learned to manage a client list, how to sell the product, and the type of formal communication to have with them. Furthermore, I helped grow their audience on LinkedIn and their engagement with the post I wrote. Lastly, I was responsible for reviewing the media press notes, thanks to my journalism background, and analyzing the reports.

Tasks: Content creation for customers (social media and copywriting. Email marketing // Experience gained: I was able to help grow our client's social media. With the content I created for their blogs, they were able to gain attention on their web page. I was able to see what the workings of an agency are like and manage my own time and responsibilities to get the job done.

I was a proactive person and sought the solution to the problem instead of waiting for others to do it.

Tasks: Manage B2C and B2C communication. Branding by creating graphics, copy, and blogs. Plan a content calendar. Analyze insights for results. // Experience gained: I learned how to manage a content calendar. Likewise, how to adapt my style to the company philosophy. Also, I managed to analyze a buyer persona and create content designed for them. Lastly, I created a relationship with the user of the app by drafting emails and newsletters directed to them.
