• Implemented ISO 20400, 9001, 14001, 45001, 28000, 31000, 55000 and 47.020.01, Supply Chain & Logistics Management Systems for Warehouse, Transportation and Procurement with staff training under instituted “best practices” reducing inventory by 37% while increasing sales. • Provided inspired leadership of the company wide, making high-level decisions about policy and strategy reporting to the board of directors and keep them assured all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitored with laws and regulations compliance, worked with the executive board to determine values and mission and plan for short and long term goals identifying and address problems and opportunities for the company. • Conducting regular reviews of security plans in each operating terminal to ensure they exceed company standards and that ISO28000 policies and standards are fully maintained in the port and liaise with HO security on all initiatives for Freight Forwarding & Logistics Network. • Coordinated with purchase and store control to ensure required materials are available and supplies are able to meet sales customer requirements, identifying suppliers for new/existing raw materials and improve them, as well as managing supply chain networks for the port operations. • Managing efficiently the transportation & logistics and mobile equipment as cranes, trailers, trucks, pick-up, fork lifts and barges, container optimizing costs, developing strategic and operational plans for Procurement, Purchasing, Warehousing, and Raw Material Management. • Ensuring the development and implementation of suitable systems, processes, and policies to govern efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain operations, supervising and ensured that the supply chain department and its divisions (Procurement, Warehousing and Raw Material) are running efficiently and effectively inside the port. • Saved $68 million on an annual budget of $500 million leading the 2nd largest division in the Nigeria made up of 5 distribution centers, with full P&L responsibility, supporting retail sales of $1billion by directing the supply chain staff of 7 direct and 70 Indirect reports, as well as an organization with over 2000 associates. • Played a lead role in the integration and launch on an ERP system that aligned all company flows and set the stage to take the company to a global level throughout SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses Opportunities and Threats) analysis. • Launched dashboards that shared daily performance related to daily shipments and SKUs (Stock Keeping Unit) received and shipped versus those procured and produced, thus showcasing the Supply Chain achievements daily.
