My responsibilities as the content intern included searching social media sites like Reddit to find content for Awkward Family Photos’ website using keywords and trending topics.

The Point Magazine is a student-run, semesterly magazine at Biola University. As the copy editor, I would oversee the edits for the second and final drafts of the articles for that issue. I also assisted the editor-in-chief with editing the PDFs before the magazine went to print.

Biola Magazine is the university’s seasonal parent and alumni magazine. As the editorial intern my responsibilities include writing stories about alumni and current students for the magazine and editing the final copy before it is sent to the printer. I also upload the stories and pictures on the magazine’s website.

As an intern for the Department of Advancement at Biola University I helped manage events to spread knowledge of Biola’s 10 year fundraising campaign. I also interviewed current students and alumni to write stories for the campaign’s website.

The Chimes is a student-run weekly paper at Biola University. My responsibilities as the sports editor included assigning stories to freelance writers, editing stories, managing the appearance of the print edition of the section and writing two to three articles per week.

I edited blog and website content for dentists, lawyers and other professional businesses across America. I did extensive research to understand procedures and simplify them for viewers and potential customers. Used SEO content writing to bring more views to the website.
