Product development

Over a decade of product development experience in product development has given me an intimate understanding of brand and design. By applying a creative detail-oriented mindset to every task, I believe any goal is attainable. My ideas tell a focused and engaging narrative that increases consumer engagement, which inevitably leads to incremental business. I have demonstrated my ability to manage multiple product lines including apparel and accessories, while at the same time developing my leadership skills to inspire others to deliver their best work.

I have a detailed understanding of the product development process and work to ensure the highest quality of design to an end-product that all parties can be proud of. 


o Lead large, complex, high-visibility implementations of production processes, overseeing operations and product development.
     · Over 1,000 styles produced year over year with over 30 vendors domestically and overseas.
o Negotiate cost of materials and production to maintain cost controls and P&L targets.
o Lead cross-functional communication to facilitate collaboration and creative thinking to solve complex problems.
o Manage WIP and calendars to ensure all timelines are met.
o Oversee and provide quality control measures ensuring top quality products produced in all categories.
o Provide direction on operations, product design, and logistics on all products.
o Develop and implement systems with wholesale and e-commerce leadership to best meet the needs of the business.

Production Manager

o	Negotiate and Manage all development with import and domestic vendors 
o	Manage development calendar deadlines for design team to maintain shipping deadlines 
o	Oversee 3PL warehouse move, of over 50k units and built daily process for shipments
o	Generate purchase orders for domestic and import production through Full Circle 
o	Develop production process for all departments to insure maximized visibility in ERP 
o	Monitored COGS with merchant team for all categories to maintain best margins possible based on each account
o	Logistics and operations point person for all import and domestic moves from production to warehouse and fulfillment of purchase orders 


o	Manage numerous brand name accounts from start to finish –Executing vendor set up process (contracts, supplier agreement etc.)   development, purchase order processing, production and logistics
o	Develop products that meet and exceed pre-determined quality and gross margin targets
o	Negotiate with factories and focusing on appropriate cost engineering in design and development of product
o	Generate complete development packages for new seasons; tech packs, artwork, and reference samples
o	Manage all development details and modifications with import and domestic vendors
o	Proactively work with development, buyer and merchandising teams to anticipate or resolve any issues regarding product development, planning and production 
o	Travel to meet with current and potential clients to build and strengthen relationships by discussing trends and review line development
