With certain time working in Textile industry (in apparel, backpack, gears accessories, hardware, climbing items) to agricultural products, corporate gift... in different positions from Merchandiser, Purchasing Staff, Product Developer to Sourcing, Purchasing, merchandising manager, i would like to find any jobs related in Product Development, Sourcing, Purchasing or Supply Chain Management.

Manager and Director of Development and Manufacutring

MERCHANDISING MANAGER (MM)
This position is responsible for providing professional Merchandising & Sourcing services and management, executing development and production for business. MM supports product development activities for new season and follow-up purchase orders with all factories in Asia from sending PO, to product ex-factory; as well as coordinates with overseas colleagues in the U.S. Headquarters.

Sourcing/Purchasing:
•	Obtain initial costing from suppliers / factories and offer alternative solutions to Merchandising / Design team that will meet the price target for the product while keeping the aesthetics of the product. 
•	Lead the execution of category sourcing strategies for assigned portfolio. Executes category sourcing strategies including development and execution of effective vendor negotiations, cost reductions/containment through correspondence to suppliers; develops selection criteria and drives the selection of suppliers in collaboration with a cross-functional team; conducts supplier negotiations; and performs critical tactical activities as needed including contract management, implementing improvement plans; uses procurement tools and systems to create operational efficiency and visibility.
•	Source suppliers, materials, and finished products. Negotiate price to ensure first quality materials and products with the most competitive price in the market.
•	Manage supplier relationships and ensure they are professional, transparent, and committed to the company's brands. Maintain jointly successful business relationships.
•	Stay up-to date on raw materials sourcing and market trends. 
•	Support the HQO Procurement strategic imperatives. Negotiates pricing and contracts, ensures compliance with the brand’s standard.
•	Arrange the Purchase Order and follow up until shipment.
•	Communicate supplier capacity & capability updates to stakeholders and take ownership for entire procurement process about material and service availability, lead-time, resolving all discrepancies from placement of order, through receipt, payment of goods and returns. Provides support to resolve supplier quality issues and take corrective action.
•	Responsible for ensuring the supplier adheres to the guidelines specified on the purchase order.

Comply with all site and Corporate SOPs and documented processes

Development:
•	Be responsible for working with the factories on development.
•	Develop new and current products with full source factories within the go-to-market calendar and guidelines provided by the U.S. team.
•	Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products based on what is found in factories.
•	Communicate with Product Managers or Designers on design details and tech pack specifications.
•	Call out any risks on quality, capability, and capacity at the early development stage. Evaluate and resolve technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues during the development stage. 
•	Assist compliance team to ensure vendors / suppliers adhere to or exceed Exxel Outdoors’ compliance standards and requirements.
•	Check & approve Pre-production sample with the Product Manager or Designer before mass production.

Production:
•	Maintain production capacity planning information to assure success with factory loading.
•	Ensure a seamless co-ordination with internal Colorado and Shanghai colleagues related to production and development issue to execute on time approvals and on time deliveries; assure the production meets the target cost structure, testing parameters, and product requirements of the Exxel brands.
•	Manage weekly WIP reviews and tracking of bulk production progress with the U.S. and Shanghai Teams.
•	Partner with QIT team to resolve and correct quality issues in a successful and timely manner. 
•	Conduct visits to factories. Attend in-line and final inspection on the 1st production at factories and as needed.

Strategic task:
•	Work with the division according to business objectives & strategies set down by the management. 
•	Maintain supplier strategy to include primary and backup factories. 
•	Hands on approach in daily activities.
•	Lead the Merchandising team on a daily basis to assure all objectives and goals are achieved.


Merchandising Manager

PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIST: 
•	Test materials to make sure they are the same as the original benchmark; test final products to ensure quality as buyer’s compliance: CPSAI, REACH, Toxic in Packaging…
•	Check Pre-production samples, issue PPS comments & arrange meeting the PPS meeting with factories; Check product quality control & shipping schedule, Inspect and approve products before making mass production
•	Together with QC team, production technologies Inspect first production samples again the PPS, specification to make sure correct production before shipment.
•	Issue and follow up all inline change requests of product with factories, head office, distributors.
•	Update all production specification (Tech Pack) to match with inline change requests for manufacturers before production. 
•	Administer proactive measures to identify/troubleshoot and resolve potential problems in production; resolved outstanding production, deliver and some quality issues – with Head office, worldwide Distributors and all manufacturers.
•	Work hand in hand with the production team as well as other support departments, make production planning and production loading, countercheck them, address proper priorities to ensure delivery is met.
•	Liaise between the Headquarters, the local office as well as local suppliers/manufacturers, sped up and facilitated communication and solve both outstanding and urgent issues.
•	.Follow up SMU project (Short time project) with distributors and manufacturers. Handle all SMU projects from development with distributors, factory to final shipment
•	Be responsible for all changes in production by Inline Change Request, make mock-up, update specification & follow up sample and production with distributor and manufacturers.
•	Work with Demand Team in US and distributors worldwide in Total Forecast, Planning, P/O, label, shipping, printing material, Follow up production from PO sending to product ex-factory date.
•	Quality Inspector 1 year: back up work for the QC manager on her Maternity Leave: PPS checking and meeting with factories; Materials checking: colour, hand-feel, function; Inline inspecting during product inline; Final inspection for all products and make sure grade A before shipment; Follow up quality issue with After Sales Service Department; Work with supplier to find solution when necessary.

Office management:
