Special Events Operations Coordinator 

Administration & Clerical

• Work alongside the Operations Director on planning for Outdoor Retailer, a business-to-business tradeshow that features over 29,000 attendees and over 1,000 exhibitors twice a year.
• Develop and maintain budgets for all special features and events for Outdoor Retailer.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to conceptualize new and innovative ideas to increase trade show attendance and maximize attendee experience.
• Compose and fulfill sponsorship contracts.
• Manage food and beverage budget and approve all final banquet event orders.
• Create floor plans for special features and events by collaborating with marketing to ensure smooth traffic flow and attendee satisfaction.
• Work with show decorators to ensure proper build out of show floor areas and events, and act as lead contact for pre-planning logistics and ordering materials.
• Effectively communicate operational logistics to exhibitors and sponsors.
• Act as the lead operations contact for the show floor area, Venture Out, which includes: facilitating education sessions, happy hours, and exhibitor booth builds.

• Registration/marketing liaison for the following business-to-business tradeshows: Outdoor Retailer, Interbike, Cyclofest, Swim & Active Collective, ICFF, BDNY, HX, Campus Safety and RetailX.
• Lead planning meetings to begin all project show builds.
• Build and manage registration web pages and provide quality control throughout the registration cycle.
• Administer weekly meetings and walk throughs with stakeholders.
• Provide customer service to internal Sales and Marketing teams regarding registration.
• Research and recommend onsite registration floor plans and new vendors for registration supplies and temporary services.
• Manage and monitor temporary staff schedules onsite at every event.
• Assist internal teams with data management and reporting for all shows within my portfolio.
• Ensure vendor communication is clear and all requirements have been submitted accurately and timely per Operations Manager’s specifications to registration vendor, facility, AV and all vendors associated with project.
• Provide elevated customer service to show attendees pre-show, onsite, and post-show.

Registration Operations Coordinator

• Responsible for maintaining a successful and functional sales floor with heightened responsibilities.
• Involved assisting new associates in training processes within all zones (on and off the sales floor).
• Restock trained (apparel & home product), which included product placement and merchandising.
• Provided excellent customer service while further upholding all company standards; including policies, product knowledge, and upholding a welcoming and creative environment.
• Highly trained in markdowns, cash register, management, and shipment processes.
• Responsible for regulating the sales floor and all associates when any manager was absent.

Senior Sales Team Member

• Assisted the Director of Sales in day to day business while creating innovative selling strategies for 5 brands that fall under the Z Supply brand.
• Acted as a support to all Sales Representatives by providing them with selling information, product knowledge, physical samples of all lines, and generating commission and booking reports.
• Merchandised product and created line sheets for all brands using NuOrder.
• Assisted with off-pricing arrangements by arranging and assorting available inventory.
