Hello, my name is Kirstie Webster and I am a special event professional. I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to work within the hospitality industry with such awesome companies. With my experiences, I continue to live by the philosophies I developed in life: 1. Do what you love and love what you do. 2. Learn everything about anything. 3. Go big or go home. Although these may not be original concepts I believe that these philosophies act as true guiding principles. For example, when coordinating events it is important to examine and understand every aspect that goes into the design of the event not only to better develop the guest experience, but also to better anticipate/implement risk management plans. For this reason I strive to gain knowledge from every professional experience.

Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients. Experience delegating tasks to other employees. Supervised my staff. Served as a liaison between other departments. Provided brilliant customer service as a component of all job duties.

Banquet Captain

Coordinated all aspects of events from initial contact, ordering, planning, and follow-ups. Managed special events, traveling plans, daily agendas, and staff coordination.     

Event Specialist

Served as a customer service representative to ensure premier customer satisfaction. Trained new team members. Assisted customers with only professionalism and always in a timely fashion. Maintained the front desk and receptionist area in a neat and organized manner.   Managed the receptionist area, including greeting visitors and responding to telephone and in-person requests, orders, or inquiries.

Receptionist/ Service Specialist

Planned multiple client appreciation events with client base of 3000. Assisted with social media marketing to expand online presence. Continually organized and assisted with monthly announcements and newsletters to achieve community awareness. Ensured exceptional customer service for all walk-ins, appointments and companies. Managed the receptionist area, including greeting visitors and responding to telephone and in-person requests, orders, or inquiries. 

Customer Service Specialist

Hostess by day, banquet assistant by night. Served as an event coordinator to all inquiring clients. Assisted in daily tasks under the Event Manager that included staffing, working with clients/accounts, new employee training, and miscellaneous paperwork. Prepared banquet rooms for events. Set up and monitored buffet services.
