Make magic with the rest of the Production Mafia:

• Design and develop Homewares and Novelty products for License Partners to be sold through major retailers
• Create Line Submissions, Factory Spec Sheets, and Product Presentations
• Work on production projects and packaging mock-ups as needed with Production & assemble packaging on bulk orders with Warehouse team

Graphic Designer / Product Developer

•Design cold weather accessories of all glove & mitt categories ranging from high-end to price-driven pieces 
• Technically address fabrics, trims, embellishment, and construction details to execute both aesthetic and functional aspects of assigned categories, while adhering to target costs 
• Create and maintain tech packs for sampling, including CADs, technical flat sketches, and color standards
• Design and build tech packs with Private Label partners & communicate with factories, including managing strike off and lab dip approvals
• Research market competitors within the Snow industry and translate trends into brand-appropriate pieces 
• Manage Art Requirement List for all product packaging for Line Items; work with graphic department & route approval feedback to factories
• Create design boards with inspiration materials and styling for design review meetings

Designer

• Designed visually innovative accessories and headwear for License partners; developed from concept through final production
• Created and maintained original tech packs, comp pages, and spec sheets
• Worked in partnership with Art, Production, Licensing, and Sourcing departments during all stages of development
• Input and maintained information & BOMs into a product lifecycle management system (BeProduct)
• Researched trends in novelty and Licensed apparel, and translated trends and innovative ideas into relevant product to be sold at specific retailers
• Market research through attending conventions and other related events as it pertained to gaming apparel, gamer lifestyle, and brand identity

License partners included: Blizzard Entertainment (World of Warcraft, Overwatch), Mojang (Minecraft), Halo, and Rocket League

Accessories Designer - Licensed Accessories

• Designed Men's and Women's accessories, including purses, wallets, backpacks, hats/headwear, sleepwear, socks, and footwear, and managed styles from concept through SMS and production stages
• Designed SMU styles for apparel and accessories: worked with buyers of major retailers to meet their requests while keeping brand integrity, and managed SMU from approval through TOP 
• Attended fittings and worked with Technical Design to ensure proper fit and quality were executed
• Researched market trends through a variety of sources to build concepts and design capsules
• Communicated with Design, Technical Design, Development, Merchandising, and Sales teams through all design and development stages; worked closely to hit margin goals
• Built and maintained tech packs on Adobe Illustrator; input and maintained BOMs in Lectra Fashion PLM
• Communicated with overseas vendors

Designer - Accessories and Apparel

• Data entry into a new system for product data management for all trims and materials
• Updated tech pack illustrations following fittings as needed
• Created full-color Accessory Illustrations
• Assisted Designers with creating preliminary color boards for Spring 2014
