In My Own Words

Hi, I'm Kelsey! I am currently a Senior, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communication with a Business Application at the University of New Hampshire, with a minor in sales. I have obtained certifications in Inbound Marketing and Content Marketing from HubSpot Academy. When I’m not at school studying, you can most likely find me outside either skiing, hiking, or running.

As Co-President of the UNH Ski and Board Club, I coordinate mountain trips, organize on-campus events, and aid in the management of club finances. I collaborate with executive board members to promote the club via our Instagram account and with the mountain ski patrol to ensure safety.

I have experience in the marketing industry from my internship at SilverTech Inc., where I learned about content creation, social media management, and digital analytics. I am passionate about sustainability, social impact, and intercultural communication. I am also an Ambassador for Guayakí Yerba Mate, where I share and support their regenerative mission and vision.

I am always looking for new opportunities to develop my professional skills and network with like-minded people. I am motivated by challenges, learning, and creativity. I would love to connect with anyone who has advice or insights to offer.

University of New Hampshire Ski and Board Club

2023 – Present

Lead and manage one of the largest sports clubs at UNH, coordinating mountain trips by organizing attendance, ensuring safety compliance, and liaising with ski patrol. Plan and execute on-campus events, including our Get Out of Bed and Shred expo, to connect students with local ski and outdoor brands. Oversee club finances, managing dues, fees, and budgeting for trips and gear. Expand club engagement through strategic social media marketing, sponsorship outreach, and merchandise sales. Work closely with the executive board to grow membership and create a strong, inclusive ski and snowboard community.

2023 – Present

Organized and promoted community events, including LOVE LOCAL FEST and Emery Farm Community Talks, managing vendor outreach, logistics, and marketing. Created social media content, newsletters, and blog posts to engage the community and enhance the farm’s presence.

Promote and share yerba mate at events ranging from group ski and hiking trips to large community gatherings. Organize product sampling, engage with outdoor enthusiasts, and create social media content to boost brand awareness and engagement.
