-Communicate directly with factories to execute approved style, fit, color, and construction 
-Source materials and trims ensuring quality, factuality, and price points are met 
-Oversee product development from proto stage to final production 
-Manage style pre-costing and analyze all subsequent prototype costing to ensure yield, material costs, and FOBs are 
 accurate and meet margin objectives 
-Manage proto, sample, counter-sample, and production approvals to ensure the company's quality standards are met and 
 deliveries are received on time 
-Manage development process per established company calendar 
-Control and adhere to company's high quality standards by monitoring product details and specs throughout the product 
 manufacturing process 
-Fit new silhouettes and fabrics to ensure design is properly executed
-Collaborate with design team to provide insight and feedback regarding execution of design

Receive tech packs from brands, review, and send them to the factory
Send new strike-off requests to the factory with the specifics of each print including fabric type, fabric color, printing method, and print color
Create Excel charts with all development follow-up requests and shipping including strike-offs, proto samples, fabric lab dips, and trim lab dips
Follow up with the factory on all development and let them know the priority of each
Follow up with the brands on approvals and comments of all development
Work with the factory on understanding the brand comments and corrections
Communicate any problems that the factory would have with the brands and find solutions
Receive SMS buys and review before sending to the factory
Send a weekly development recap and SMS WIP to brands
Work with the factory on all fit samples from proto to P.P. Help them understand fit problems 
Edit brand artwork in Adobe Illustrator so the printers can properly layer the image

Manage customer accounts daily- ensuring their development and sampling is on time
Aid in the conceptual development of the production lines
Provide tech packs to domestic and overseas vendors
Present samples to clients
Oversee fabric development and sample design
Ensure that all product development and line plans meet the deadlines
Attend fit meeting with pattern makers to ensure all product is on spec and fits correctly
Oversee cutting and sewing of garments to ensure quality control
Work directly with the clients on their vision and aid in bringing the quality of the brand up
Attend weekly production meeting to make sure product is finished in time
Maintain a WIP with all customer accounts to make sure all information in organized and up to date
Create CADs needed to make detailed tech packs and cutting orders
Use knowledge of fabrics and dye processes to guide the customer in deciding on fabric choices for styles

Product Developer/Pre-Production Developer

Research trends in the market and with competition
Create strike-offs of several colorways of prints with aide from Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Use Adobe Illustrator to draw CADS of styles each season
Place P.O.s for fabric and embellishments
Work with overseas vendor to create embellishments used each season
Organize all samples with line sheets to send out to our reps
Organize and maintain the print and embellishment library
Work with the pattern maker and production manager for proper fit and design of garments

Tracks current trends within industry as well as women's and teen
