2014 – 2017

• Responsible for all business operations including marketing, merchandising, purchasing, staffing, travel planning and budgeting. • Marketing: Designed and implemented marketing campaigns to both swim and dive customer bases utilizing digital and print platforms. • Merchandising: Continually managed the presentation of products while utilizing POP resources from vendors in order to maximize customer attention. • Travel: Scheduled, coordinated, and booked all local and international travel. This included managing all logistics, contracts, pricing, and corresponding marketing. • Business Development: Developed, marketed and implemented a swim program resulting in profitability within the first season. • Once given full control of all finances, successfully transitioned the company to profitability by effectively cutting expenses and increasing sales. • Staff Development: Hired and supervised a sales and instructor staff of 35. In charge of employee development, training, schedules, payroll, staff meetings and sales goals. • Responsible for all buying decisions based on current and future customer demand, margins, and revenue goals.

• Managed $1.2 million retail scuba diving and swim store. • Hired and supervised a staff of 10 sales associates and 20 contract labor instructors. • Designed and implemented inspiring direct marketing campaigns utilizing postcards, emails, and websites. • Directly oversaw the day-to-day operation of the store, including inventory, staffing, pricing, displays, stocking, product promotions, and budgeting. • Responsible for daily deposits, bill payments, company credit cards, and payroll. ** Full time sales associate before being promoted to Store Manger from April 2006 to January 2008.
