• Foundation Building: As the first working partner, I led a core team of six across sales, marketing, operations, and design, transforming the traditional beer industry by blending art, skateboarding culture, and diverse values.

• Business Strategy & Pitch: Developed the business plan and pitch materials, successfully raising capital and positioning OPEN as an innovative multicultural brand.

• Fundraising Success: Led a $1.25 million capital raise through equity and convertible notes, securing strategic investments from New Belgium Brewing and high-net-worth individuals, positioning OPEN for long-term growth.

• Strategic Partnerships: Negotiated a partnership with New Belgium Brewing, streamlining production and distribution, and secured a partnership with Leverage House to strengthen financial strategy.
• Distribution & Expansion: Secured a distribution deal with Scout Distribution, expanding OPEN’s presence in the competitive LA/OC market and paving the way for ongoing growth.

• Operational Leadership: Managed collaboration between OPEN Brewing and New Belgium Brewing, ensuring smooth product design, manufacturing, and delivery, meeting all targets for cost, quality, and timelines.

• Talent & Culture: Led hiring efforts to build a talented team aligned with the brand’s core values, fostering an inclusive, creative, and high-energy culture that boosted retention and performance.

•	Provided leadership and direction to a corporate office team of 11 finance, sales, marketing, design, and production professionals focused on achieving operational, financial, and customer satisfaction goals during 1st tier of business start-up.
•	Carved out a new category in the marketplace – fashion-forward, women-specific, designer headphones; led growth of the company from zero to $5+ million in annual sales, culminated with acquisition by a European distributor in 2017.
•	Raised $6.5 million in capital funding from friends, family, high-net worth individuals and venture capital funds.
•	Cultivated key strategic partnerships with Dolce & Gabbana, Rebecca Minkoff, Guess, Barbara Bui, Coca-Cola, and Equinox.
•	Pitched concept with 2D drawings, and landed placement and assortment in 40 Apple North America and 240 Apple Asia Pacific retail stores; also secured placement in 400 Best Buy stores.
•	Compelled a massive social media following on Instagram and unified an organic, all-star and celebrity-studded group of relation-based influencers including Rhianna, Jessica Alba, and hundreds of the other top-followed top-fashion bloggers. 
•	Following test at Apple and Best Buy, transitioned from technology retailers to fashion retailers including Target and Nordstrom, as well as 50+ accounts in other sales channels.

•	Served as broadcast host and commentator of live and taped ESPN X Games, and ESPN X Games 3D.
•	Leveraged success as an action sport pro and two-time Winter X Games medalist to excel in communicating and storytelling with signature goal of inviting the viewer into the action as a sideline reporter, color commentator, and analyst.

Competed as a top-20 ranked professional snowboarder/action sports athlete during a successful, medal-winning 16-year career.

•	Traveled worldwide to perform and compete in televised snowboarding events, with a competitive spirit, drive, and dedication; two-time ESPN Winter X Games Snowboard Superpipe Medalist and three-time World Snowboard Superpipe Champion.
•	Served as a brand ambassador for sponsors including Burton Snowboards, Pepsi, and Nike; provided input on brand building, product development, marketing strategy, and innovation based on observation of global trends which could be commercialized.
Represented Burton on a trip to Asia, Europe, New York and Los Angeles to brief designers on market trends, with an understanding of cultural and demographic differences to apply in product development and innovation initiatives.
