Hey, my name is Kayla. I want to believe I'm not your average human just looking for a job but what do I know? I'd like to paint a beautiful picture for you to get the best first impression of me possible but chances are you'll get the full effect of Kayla Lynn Adams in person. I left my home and traveled 3000 miles away from Connecticut to sweet lovely California in hopes to do that "living the dream" thing that everyone is always talking about. And here I am, as a server at a hookah lounge. Apparently everyone wants the same job as me so a lot of employers overlook my application. Maybe it's cause I'm just so intimidating? Or too cute to be taken seriously. Either way, I'm your best chance at having a good day at work. I know I am a valuable employee to have on staff and I know that I'm not someone you'd regret taking a chance on. So give me that chance. 

While maintaining server job, also handle the company's Instagram account. Managing posts, retrieving likes, shares, and follows. Growing the account organically.

Manager In Training/Sales Associate

Stella is an established London based fashion photographer who came over to Los Angeles for a short period of time to fulfill contracts with magazines such as Nylon, Metal, Hero, China Magazine, etc. I assisted her in shooting editorials on multiple locations as well as setting up and breaking down the equipment at the shoot. I assisted her in reaching out to clients to discuss and create mood boards and clarify any information the clientele may have. 

Photographer's Assistant

Worked long hours and weekends for all school portraits from elementary to High School Senior portraits. Set up and broke down equipment. Handled clientele and worked in office as customer service. Maintained sales reports as a sale representative and encouraged clients to purchase photo packages that best suited their needs.

Develop a sense of community among residents as members of a floor, residents of a hall, and active participants in the residence life system. Served as a positive role model to residents and peer staff members. Acts as a liaison between residents and the University administration. Enforcing rules and policies amongst the residence hall. Assist in the supervision of the residence hall, responding to all requests and emergencies during duty hours. Remaining on-call for the remainder of the weekend. Counsel residents regarding personal and academic concerns and adjustments to living concerns.
