Joshua Martin

I spent most of my time outside fishing, climbing trees and riding bikes. I could be found working on the farm with my grandfather, Vern. Vern was the second generation owner of the family masonry business. I worked with them from age 12, and when home, I can still be found bailing hay with the family. This is where my work ethic is from.

Speaking of work ethic, this is the quote I live by. This quote is on my desk and I read it almost daily.

I am an adventurer. I like challenges. I can learn from everyone, and every situation. Whether it's summiting Whitney (again), or flying to a foreign country, each and every person I meet along the way brings inspiration, and impacts my DNA.

You'll find our family hanging in hammocks, listening to music and the waves breaking. You'll catch us in the Eastern Sierra catching golden trout. We chase storms and climb mountains, only to find the most exciting way down. We are energetic and deeply rooted outside.

Our son Ryder is 8 years old. He is naturally talented, deeply compassionate, and joins us on the slopes, backpacking the high peaks in Southern California, and climbing in Joshua Tree. He drives me, he challenges me and he teaches me. We couldn't be more proud of him.

Today, I am living my dream. I get to design products I love and watch my family grow. I'm surrounded by talented professionals, a loving family, and 2 French Bulldogs dogs (Roxy and Zoey) attached to my hip. I get to live and work in San Diego, and driven by the people in my life.
