Remotely manage NRI (located in Fontana, CA) from Carlsbad, CA to ensure that distribution performance is at optimal levels and monthly/quarterly goals are met. Also oversee E commerce operations that is still operated "In-house" in Kearny Mesa, CA.

Operations Manager

Manage Bedhead Pajamas Distribution Center located in Los Angeles, CA. Over see all Operations, including but not limited to Customer Service (both Wholesale and Ecommerce), Distribution, Transportation, Vendor Compliance, Inventory Control, & Warehouse Operations.

Set up and implement big box retailer vendor compliance and distribution/fulfillment standard operating procedures. Establish a chargeback challenge system to first avoid committing vendor violations... also to reduce or waive chargebacks completely. Shipped $1.5 million USD in orders to Bloomindales, Neiman Marcus, and Lord & Taylor... and only received $700 USD in valid offset expenses.

Manage distribution for VF Brands like The North Face, Jansport, Reef and Eaglecreek, Lucy Activewear out of a 1,000,000 sq Ft Distribution Center in Visalia, CA.

- Provide and report custom documents for export 
- Coordinate and route loads via intermodal and OTR.
- Route all outbound shipments and assure that all vendor compliance is being met.
- Coordinate with carriers and establish pick up appointments and maintain shipping schedules.
- Coordinate and manage various dates (ship and cancel dates for open order in the WMS system).
- Define the workload for the shipping department staff by appointments set.
- Communicate with customer service and affected departments..prioritze urgent/special orders.
- Communicate with carriers via phone/email to eensure pick up times and work processes.
- Research customer chargebacks, reduce annual chargebacks and carrier detention charges.

Manage Quality Assurance (Construction and Design) for the entire Reef brand under a DC setting in San Diego, CA prior to VF acquisition and relocation to Visalia, CA.

- Mastered product specifications and confirmation samples.
- Supervised 30-50 warehouse QA associates, conducted staffing plan, and review and evaluate
- Implemented and ensured compliance of safety policies and procedures. 
- Monitored customer returns and gathered defective product statistical data. 
- Assisted other departments in inventory control through building of cycle count plans.
- Monitored year end inventory.
- Experience in a start up phase of a Distribution facility.
- Supervised multiple departments simultaneously.
- Responsible for fabric inspection, pre-production, in-line audits/inspections
