I have been a Graphic Designer, Product Designer, and Industrial Designer for 12 years. I started in Graphics at Burton Snowboards, became a Product Designer at New Era Caps. Then learned Merchandising at Quiksilver. Currently, I am the Director of Merchandising & Design at Neff Headwear. I am offering my my services, from Intern to Director, to help your business grow.

Traffic-control across all product categories (softgoods, hardgoods, printables and accessories). Project
management and workflow oversight for Design and Development teams. Maintenance of WIPs across all
product categories. Seasonal and SMU product calendar management. Liaise between Sales, Design,
Marketing and Production in service of product and calendar priorities. Lead facilitation of Merchandising
strategy. Interpret in-season and post-season sales (SKU analysis as relates to creation of line-plans and
strong SKU performance)

Manage Product life cycle, from concept, tech-packing, sampling, communicating with the manufacturer and
everything in between.
Prepare techpacks, source and pick fabric, trims, and details for each product. Communicate with factories
during development process. Lead in production duties along the product lifecycle.
Update WIP and manage Production Assistants to make sure P.O.’s are being written and all details are
being looked after.

Product Manager

Create seasonal line architecture/numeric plans. Research competitive positioning and trends. Coordinate
initial forecast, by style, based on design and historical sales data. Set cost targets based on pricing
strategy and historical data. Provide cross functional leadership– ensure decisions are made and design/
development process progresses. Works closely with sales directors to learn key account business and build
necessary relationships. Manage special projects. Recap all meeting notes with all cross-functional partners
from seasonal reviews. Evaluates current business processes to identify improvements and leverage
infrastructure. Build yearly development calendar by season starting with Line Arch/Numeric plans to Sales
meeting and buy dates. Manage and maintain yearly budgets. Approve all costing and margin. Solve and
Support Seasonal workflow fluctuations. Manage Inline and SMU Product

Direct all product and business globally across all Neff categories (Hot Tub Shorts, Woven's, Eyewear, Caps, Beanies, Printable's, Fleece, Watches, Socks,and Backpacks) from concept to commercialization for Inline, Value, SMU and Licensed (Disney, Warner Brothers, Lucas Films, Marvel, and Nickelodeon) products. Also, worked closely with Marketing and Sales to establish brand direction and go to market strategy.

Director of Merchandising and Design

Design licensed headwear for domestic and international teams, athletes, musicians, etc. Style and design
performance product, technically addressing fit, construction, fabrics and design lines from concept to
completion. Influences global design direction. Conceptualize, research, and apply new technologies to the
assigned headwear category. Research market competitors and trends within Licensed Headwear. Create
product design boards, inspiration materials and present to large groups at Design Reviews. Design
category collections within cost, style, performance and consumer objectives integrating freelance design
and inspiration. Work in partnership with Development to ensure all necessary information is provided to
execute product prototyping. Works with Product Merchandising and Development teams to commercialize
collections and product. Respond quickly to multiple projects with strong time management skills. Mentor
and Direct Senior Designers & Production Artists.

Head of Headwear

Direct and create relevant, innovative product. Develop styles from initial concept to pre-production. Manage 8 out of 10 product categories, such as: Hats, Beanies, Bag packs, Watches, Socks, Sunglasses, and Snow accessories. Build and merchandise line plan needs as well as negotiate cost to hit margins. Create detailed Tech Packs and Design new product and silhouettes. Issue clear and detailed direction to Production Development team to ensure first proto approvals. Work closely with other members of Design team to meet mutual Team and Company Goals.

Lead Accessories Designer

Design & deliver unique, premium, never before seen headwear. Tech-Pack all designs & concepts to be production ready for sampling. New product embellishment, materials, and styles to be designed on an ongoing basis. Being wildly creative with new ideas and concepts for innovation. Successfully work within calendar deadlines laid out by the VP of Melin. Comfortable working with a team as well as eclectic personalities of Athletes and Ambassadors. Translation of a design brief and theme/concept into a visual story through graphics, photography & layout design.

Headwear Designer

Responsibilities include: Product Development, Product Design, Graphics, Construction, Pattern Making, Tech Packing
and Production. Experience in Young Men and Youth Headwear, Backpacks, Wallets, Belts, Beanies, and Misc. Strengthen relationships with OEM vendors to establish better costing, improved timelines, better quality of product and still be on trend.

Global Accessories Designer

Work with various partners to design new ideas and inventive applications for headwear. Create “Tech Packs” for factory to ensure correct construction and applications. Research and forecast the latest fashions. Created mood boards and determine color palette. Work directly with marketing to create effective page layouts for advertisements and events. Knowledge of open market fabrics, MOQ’s, and design with target costing.
