An experienced Creative Director, and Advertising Professional, my role has been to lead creative teams while ensuring that campaigns are effective and strategic. I am a strong project/team manager, with hands on expertise designing and producing a broad spectrum of creative marketing and communications. I have over 20 years marketing/advertising experience resulting in the ability to produce a high volume of detailed design work with meticulous attention to detail. I thrive in creative groups, collaborative teams, managing outside agencies, and developing/implementing strategies in complex organizations.

13 Stitches Magazine is a Concert and Band Review website that mostly features Punk Rock Concert Photography, Punk Rock Videos, Punk Rock Reviews, a Punk Rock Concert Calendar and Reader Contributions. What does this mean? This means that if you too are a fan of Punk Rock and Live Music, then we would love to feature your experiences, your images and your videos on our website. You don’t have to be a road scholar, a professional photographer, or experienced videographer to contribute. This website is here to share experiences and promote a great music genre. 13 Stitches Magazine provides readers in the Orange County area with concert imagery as well as provocative coverage of Punk Rock, Indie, and Alternative concerts. Readers can expect intelligent and unconventional coverage of local music events. We provide fair-minded reporting and criticism, but above all, we value the close connection that we develop with our readers. Aspirational not elitist, enthusiastic yet discerning.

Executing top quality design work and creative concepts as necessary in alignment with our company’s high standards. Hands on with design projects when necessary, using the Creative Cloud applications with advanced knowledge in a way that reduces time in the department work-flow. Creating and maintaining a visual identity system - managing brand consistency across all touch-points in the customer journey through the creation of design specs, standards, style guides, toolkits, and processes. Developed both a digital Brand Guidelines as well as Creative Cloud collaborated libraries for all company brands. Working hand in hand with UX Designers and Front-End Engineers to deliver best-in-class visual designs. Wire framing and Prototyping using Axure collaboratively. Working closely with members of the product management to align the product strategy with target audience needs, brand positioning, revenue goals, and team resources.
Senior Art Director
Exacta Media2011 – 2015
Front End Development and Art Direction of new Single Page Application projects developed using Twitter Bootstrap, CSS3 and HTML 5. UI Design and incorporates Bootstrap Responsive Framework and development collaboration using GitHub code host for version tracking and multi-user editing. Managed, designed, and integrated the new Responsive Layout for the Exacta Media and Moment | M websites. This includes breakpoints defined to call custom CSS for each viewing device width (desktop, tablet, smart phones). The new Responsive Websites adapt to change in device platforms with speed and efficiency. Design and maintain websites in a variety of technologies, including CMS, PHP, ASP.net MVC (Model View Controller), Drupal, WordPress, and HTML Websites. Conceptualize, version, slice PSD designs for Responsive HTML email advertising campaigns. Partner with designers and developers to create Brand Guidelines and launch Branded Advertising Campaigns for Agency clients. Head Photographer.
