Work Experience
Freelance Graphic Design and Screen Printing
Sick Icarus Art2010 – Present
CD artwork and packaging, web banner graphics, t-shirt designs, sticker design, covers, mailers, business cards, and poster design. Screen printing for show posters, shirt designs, and other promotional merchandise items as well as fine art prints and gallery focused art. In-house graphic work, color separation, generating film positives, all pre-press duties, screen prep, registration, and ink mixing.

Create and update labeling and packaging artwork, claims, and nutritional information for Abbott Nutrition’s global marketplace. • Coordinate with Brand, Marketing, and Regulatory depts to ensure labels meet corporate branding standards and Ministry of Health standards for each country • Oversee label output adheres to specific printer and product requirements and guidelines. • Aid in creation of MEIT/regional labeling templates • Streamline line communication, work flow, and organizational structure for the Global Labeling Operations group.

Graphic Designer and Creative Lead

As the lead I am in charge of all design and print production development for the new AnoCard project. This includes developing art and design methods to fulfill all orders and requests, creating processes to handle customer and internal artwork, and establishing standard operating procedures for production. I am the subject matter expert for all color profiling and color management processes as well as maintaining and updating all equipment and software relevant to the project.

As a member of the Art and Design staff it is our responsibility to color correct, separate, and prepare both custom client artwork and licensed artwork for production. Much of our job lies in knowing how colors translate from screen to paper to garment. We are also tasked with guiding client custom art from humble beginnings to fully realized product. This demands an in depth understanding our company’s proprietary techniques and industry standard printing processes. It also requires a high level of proficiency with modern imaging software, excellent communication skills, and adherence to tight deadlines.

Preparing client artwork and graphics for production on digital printing presses, CNC routers, and vinyl plotters. Plotting, installing, laminating, and packing of vinyl graphics for projects. Basic work with laser CNC routers prepping files and cutting various materials.
