Freelance Print & Pattern Designer

I create allover print artwork and placed art prints, Five Points works as my Agent and sells them to companies looking to buy art for things like- textiles, apparel, hardgoods, advertising, web, media ect. I aim to design 2-3 collections a month.

Freelance Graphic & Textile Designer

I designed all Active Prints & Patterns for Joy Lab which is a new high fashion line for Target. I handle designing original art and also working with existing/bought art and prints and putting them in repeat as well as recoloring prints seasonally. I also do all hangtag, matchbook & packaging artwork and ensure that all deliverables are factory ready.

Designing & Merchandising winter product for the North American and Canadian portion of O'Neill Snow. Working hand in hand with the Global design team and filling in holes where necessary for our market. I headed up Nomis Women's Design from concept to design to completion. Trend shopping, direction, forecasting, color pallets, line plan, graphic design, streetwear design, technical outerwear design, factory communication & visits, international travel, trade show presentation and sales meetings, catalog direction, styling, creative direction, photoshoot planning & direction.

Eventually I was promoted to Head Designer for brand as a whole, this includes men's, women's, kid's. Provided seasonal brand direction, trend & color direction, line plan, design, managing and hiring freelance designers, designing into all aspects of the brand across genders and designing graphics, collaborations with other artists, international travel, factory communication, lab dips, fabrications

2003 – 2007

Lingerie/ Loungewear/ Sleepwear I started out as an assistant designer, then worked my way up to head designer within two years. I managed an entire design department & pattern room as well as designing for a ton of private labels and licenses. I developed multiple seasonal color pallets as per each client, travelled to europe for trend research and presented collections to buyers. It was an amazing first job in the industry!
