Retail Store Manager
Management: Oversaw the recruiting, hiring, scheduling and training for twelve or more retail
sales associates and two department managers.  Drove sales by supervising the sales floor at all
times to ensure that customer service exceeded expectations.  Conducted and promoted sale
events involving special populations in the area. Assisted department buyers in pre-season
ordering, transferring and distributing.

Marketing: Organized the high-school newspaper advertising for all six locations. Created and maintained company presence in MySpace and Facebook social networking sites.

Extras: Revised and updated the company wide training manuals for three departments and created a comparison sheet selling tool for each accessory department.

Retail Store Manager

Sales: Represented the Burton Snowboard family of brands in the Southeast. Grew soft good
sales 25% two consecutive years. Conducted sales presentations using pre-production samples in a
showroom and at national and regional trade shows. Maintained accurate tracking of all orders from write up to shipment. Pre-calculated the retailer's initiatives for annual growth.

Account Servicing: 75% travel for in store product demonstrations, clinics, and merchandising and to promote sale events as a brand ambassador.

Corporate Involvement: Annual attendance at two global sales meetings and two national sales
meetings. Participated in daily communication with sales managers and active participation in the company wide SAP system.
